I agree with G-Man
with stnh we are pretty good involved in stellaris update changes...
it can bothering, ya, but the improvements over time gives more advantages as frustration.
with stnh now we turn into the 4th year of active modding and its still alive.
this here is just a small side job i have made because i love the scenario of the ancient in pdx game style :)
soon...next 12-24 month i guess, will rome modable as intended
I'm myself also inactive in the AGOT team atm, waiting for CK3 to get released.
Constantly changing Pox games are often bothersome for modders, as many patches/DLC require a lot of work on mods too.
I didn't handle the mod uploading to Steam so I can just assume what limitations there are on workshop and just hope you can show great patience with the mess.
In the end, you can't oblige someone to do something just because they have started something.
pdx titles take a long time to become playable, and mods require constant support if they are more complex.
my mods run hand in hand with what i want to have different, i'm furious about vanilla, i just wait.
if that changes, then it goes on...
with my other rome mod i had to realize that the modding in rome is still heavily limited after i updated it...
it's depressing and just takes more time.
but to offer a workshop, but then to limit it in a hidden way is more than frustrating, which brings us to your wise words, it's not up to me, if i enjoy the game, if the producer is not able to deliver the product adequately.
if it's so necessary to limit the mod support in this way, then you should probably stop it.
wise words, but next time you should check if the person you are telling your words to needs them.
a look at the user workshop page should answer the question quickly
its so sad...pdx was such a awesome publisher...
i guess i need to wait until the game bring me more fun, sry.
but this u should also share in pdx forum (its a real bug!)
and if I understand you correctly, no mod will work, no matter if one or all of them together.
in this case the whole thing has nothing to do with the mods anyway, that's because of the game, i had that once too. ka how that was fuxed, but then it worked again.
i recommend pdx support.
when u have more than 1 mod. in that alpha-stage game, then u can have mutual influences of the mods and the game. you can't rule that out.
but thats not up to me, i checked the mod, it stil works right now
i need to change font color, but this impact the checksum, what is the trigger for steam achievements.
maybe a another base color can hold the vanilla font color readability...but i am disappointed about that dev. decision. i hope they will change this at some time, so i wait for this
zudem ist IR noch gar nicht fertig, die modbarkeit hier ist im vergleich zu stellaris doch eher beschraenkt
its not final, but a good start.
This looks awesome.
i didnt changed that part of the base game...maybe i have a gui file attached which is anyhow changed on ur side.
u can send me the file via the forum or with discord.
just join discord an pm "g-man" and upload the file in the text line
