Done with this one.. me too had coupling issues.. once at the siding at IPPX facility.. and twice at the IPPX main siding 6.. was getting frustrated.. second time around coupled at a speed of about 5mph and it worked... sometimes wonder, coupling should be done at slow speed.. but the bugs makes it a bit risky to couple.. more speed and a derailment is never far away.. getting back to our train at Summit... :steamhappy:

Sorry you had coupling issues, I run into that sometimes also. Glad you were able to finish it. Thanks and welcome. :)

Finally completed all duties, but had a frustrating time at the IPPX Facility. Couldn't get the single wagons to connect, despite trying all of the suggestions such as saving, re-loading, clear cache etc. Was about to give up, when I found that it was very sensitive to the shunting speed. I had kept trying at extremely slow speeds (under 0.5 mph), but eventually gave it a go by backing up and trying a higher speed of about 2.5 mph which finally worked.
Many thanks again RB, it turned out to be enjoyable.
Cheers, Warren

(Clapping) Cool, glad you got to finish it. Thanks John. :)

Tried again to-night using a resume at track6. First attempt failed as before, pulled back a little distance then tried again - but this time the F4 HUD displayed track info and not the consist coupling display as in all other attempts. This time the coupling was successful and the scenario was finally completed.

Thanks Rammy, nice to know.

Enjoyable Shunting Scenario. Everything worked Perfectly for Me. Thank you.

Sorry John, wish DTG would fix the minor details but it seems like they never really look back and fix to much after release.

My problems started at the first wagons at the IPPX facility. Tried your suggestion and finally managed to pick-up the loose wagons. But no way will the partial consist connect with the main consist at track6. Tried everything including Computer shutdown after save, cache clearing and reboot. Give up cannot see any other option.
RBJets  [author] 3 May, 2019 @ 7:46pm
Try a save then quit and resume, also clear you cache from the TOOLS menu, its a TS/DTG glitch, I have no control over it. I have had this happen on many other routes also.
john 3 May, 2019 @ 5:55pm
Same problem as chris5012, tried a save -RW''s shutdown -reboot -resume still would not hook up. Tried reverse a few yards then forward and still would not hook up. Out of ideas.

I think it does a run once a year from wyoming down to a rodeo in Denver.
Robbie 3 May, 2019 @ 4:11pm
did you hear that the Union Pacific Big Boy Steam Engine is out running last night from cheyenne yard heading towards Larimie wyoming
RBJets  [author] 3 May, 2019 @ 12:39pm
Not really hard to say..., depends on how much each scenario covers. Pretty much everything will be from Provo to Salt Lake area and everything between there, All areas from south of Provo including Helper are done except for the "Return Run" scenarios.

do you know how many parts are left
RBJets  [author] 2 May, 2019 @ 8:17am
Thanks Chris, yes that seems to happen with wagons on this route and others.
chris5012 2 May, 2019 @ 1:58am
Excellent scenario. Had a minor problem with the last hookup on IPPX Track 6 when the wagons didn't couple up but I pulled forward a few yards, reversed and they coupled up perfectly the second time. Stupid TS!!!!:steamhappy:

No, I try to get one out a week but I tell you 2 weeks so you dont ask every single day. LOL
Robbie 29 Apr, 2019 @ 5:35pm
Two and half weeks probably because you’re working right
Broadway Pixels 29 Apr, 2019 @ 5:33pm

Robbie 29 Apr, 2019 @ 5:00pm

Welcome Ken, Thanks :)

Another great bit of yard work. Thanks for all you do.
RBJets  [author] 28 Apr, 2019 @ 9:10am
Thanks crlynch and henele54, cant remember that scenario aljocole, wrong rail numbers have nothing to do with coupling, i checked, all rail numbers are fine, the coupling is an DTG glitch, just do a: Save, quit, resume from that point also clear your cache. I always do a save after each task completed just in case of the ugly glitch.
aljocole 28 Apr, 2019 @ 1:55am
Yard work (Provo) Part 2 at the end then coal wagons have the wrong numbers and you cannot connect to rest of the coal wagons to end the game otherwise a great series thank you
henele54 27 Apr, 2019 @ 9:34pm
Smooth sailing for me. Good job again.
crlynch 27 Apr, 2019 @ 4:05pm
As always enjoy your yard workshops, thanks for more of your great work.

I know even auto racks are the same way in real life for CN it’s a real problem because it can cause the draw bar to drop out of the coupler pocket witch can lead to derailments witch can be very dangerous and can take life’s out of the work place
RBJets  [author] 27 Apr, 2019 @ 8:51am
I found many times if certain cars (hoppers) have the same car number that will give you a fail (x) on the task, so then you have to find the other wagon and change the number, that is the only thing a creator can change but coupling is not under our control when making.
Robbie 27 Apr, 2019 @ 8:49am
yes i had to clear the cache twice stupid DTG bug
RBJets  [author] 27 Apr, 2019 @ 8:26am
Save, quit, resume, clear cache...etc. DTG bug. I had no issues.
Robbie 27 Apr, 2019 @ 8:21am
problem at IPPX can't couple onto the last single hopper it must be a bug
