Yeah it'll still be fine. All gmad does is uncompress the file and copy it's content to new folders. The original will still be there.

Will anything happen to the addon itself? Nothing will happen to it right? Still usable?

You have to decompress the addon file by dragging it over the Gmad program in the bin folder.
