Late to the party but I just discovered your mod and I must say it's fantastic. I tried some other mods but yours is all the building set needed to be perfect, so thanks for making this.

Thx you!

Ladies and gentlemen, a prime public example of a joke going straight over Azure's head! XD Sorry. I'm a little oblivious. Evidently.
Byzas 7 May, 2019 @ 6:25pm
It was just a joke I lived there and for me it's come from the north of france :P

@Byzas Multiple times. Even lived a year there. I'm aware Terracotta was the most used material for roofs there, believe me. I still prefer slate as an aesthetic. Trust me, I think I'm following Age of Empires already sparkly reputation for 'historical accuracy' with this graphic mod, XD Accuracy isn't the point. :P

Have you been in Mediterranean region? ahah

Good to see those black roofs, but lets not forget how the forgotten empires team hastily copied the appearance of the sarecen buildings for the italian buildings. We wish for a totally different set that mixes the teuton and sarecen buildings instead of simply recoloring the sarecen buildings and changing roofs.

@regina_copeland I'm afraid you've asked the wrong person for that type of request. When it comes to creation skills I only know (and am still learning) which files to change etc. and recolouring/editing already existing sprites. Even if I could make decent AoE2 Sprites I know nothing about GoT and have never watched the series. Sorry mate.

could you make game thrones mod with different factions and unit skins and buildings and flags i think would be very popular and and well received and become popular

Looks cool. Definitely different.

@AzureFlame: Yes, I guess so.

@Szaladon That's good to know, In future I'm assuming I'd have to add the original file if I didn't want it changed?

@Hermerico Vimara Meneses Close. Funnily enough the inspiration to do this did come from a mod that gave Gondor Architecture to another civilization. Liked it so much I decided to make my own standalone.

@Andstopher Oop! Found me out, >-<
Hermerico Vímara Meneses 1 May, 2019 @ 9:16am
So... Gondor?

@AzureFlame: I know why there was an issue with the Portuguese wonder. When you create an non-IA mod, the game is going down the file pathway of your mod SLP's (building graphics) instead of the default ones, because the game prioritizes mod files to default game files. Considering that it couldn't find a SLP file for the Portuguese wonder, it showed instead nothing.

You wouldn't have had this issue if you created an IA Portuguese mod because it uses another mod data repository structure.

Looks like a fantasy architecture, like something from Lord of the Rings. Nice. I wouldn't use it in normal gameplay but perhaps in a custom scenario. Hats off!

Literally, without the texture, it just didn't show up. This seemed to be the case with any Mediterranean buildings that didn't have a texture replacement, for some reason. I don't see how this could have happened, since I didn't do anything to the original files.

So, what was the glitch in the portuguese wonder?
AzureKitsune  [author] 29 Apr, 2019 @ 2:39pm
@Balam Ajaw Found it, but I discovered it didn't actually have terracotta colored roofs to recolor into slate, but I've done it anyway! and added it to the mod. Thanks again!
Balam Ajaw 29 Apr, 2019 @ 12:47pm
You're welcome! And the slp file of the portuguese wonder is 6215 if you still need it.
AzureKitsune  [author] 29 Apr, 2019 @ 6:24am
@Balam Ajaw Thank you! I have added the Feitoria now! And if that's the case with IA, I'll look into it, Thanks for your help!
Balam Ajaw 28 Apr, 2019 @ 8:41pm
The slp file of the Feitoria is 6247, and is really easy to do a IA version, the IA 5.7 have a list of every new slp file.
