Otherwise, I suggest the idea of a mod that adds HALF and QUARTER ceilings and foundations.
- Thatch
- Adobe
- Wood
- Stone
- Concrete
- Glass
- Steel
work come first and study second
instead of altering the sloped roof (which aesthetically needs the overlap) why not add a ramp (borrow it from the "wood" tier) ?
in other words: i'm not sure you're on the right path if you're "fixing" snaps in favour of graphics quality.

Well done!
Ill pick 500 thanks
Great mod, the devs should send you a paycheck FOR DOING THEIR WORK
- from my Skyrim modding days, 500 polis look almost the same as 4000, 4k is just lazy and unoptimized. Performace wise, 500 is much more friendly to your GPU. I will recommend this mod to anybody I can.
We need a mod like this to optimize every single asset of this game, or the devs need to do it themselves.....but I doubt it,,,Ark counts as a finished product lol.
I have a friend once told me they refuse to use official metal pieces because of the rust effect. makes it look old, dirty, unkempt.
Yours dont show rust in the pictures, I love that!
Other building things in Official I dont like:
1) Sloped roofs (snapped to sloped walls) are slightly offset. Place one on one side, then place one on the other side, then continue until they meet in the middle, but they dont line up, there is a gap. Also, when there are snap points on both sides of the sloped roof, these roof pieces often fail to place in the same place as the ghost/preview indicates.
2) When Ark updated Greenhouse to have more HP, they messed something up with the Greenhouse wall's hitbox. It's hitbox pokes up above ceilings placed above it, so I keep tripping over the walls that are under ceilings, and have to change my builds to make sure I dont have Greenhouse Walls directly under floors.
I have reported both of these issues to survivetheark, with video... and those reports were months (or years) ago, so I gave up hope they would fix it.

If i m not wrong you can modify the pickup able timer in game.ini
As player i'd like to feel free to choose , it s my opinion!
