you put nokia in south asia, therefore i will have to spawn in that land, he who controls nokia, controls the universe, i shall rain 3310's down upon my foes, they shall be dead since 3 seconds ago, i will rule the world, no the universe, when my people begin interstellar travel, we shall fly in nokias, we will not need guns or cars or spaceships when we go, all we need are nokias, with them at our side, we will be invincible, indestructable, impervius to any and all attack, the universe will tremble under the nokias great might, the nokia shall destroy galexies, tear open portals to another dimension, and then we shall take that too.

fear me

fear the Nokia Empire

you cant hide

even if you could

it wouldnt matter,

surrender, and you will have the least painfull death possible

resist,

well, lets save what i will do to them for later,

just know

we're watching

Love it, but there's a glaring flaw in the new expansion. You forgot to include a <BuildingClassOverride> tag to prevent city states (or barbarians, for that matter) from building the HQ buildings. I didn't notice this until I got an annoying little "Ur has completed Cereal Mills" message. It was easy enough to edit one in, but getting beaten to the most powerful corporation on the map by one turn was annoying, especially when it was a city state that beat me to it. I mean, how humiliating is that?

Can you put up an alternate download link for this mod pls?
Envoy  [author] 4 Oct, 2013 @ 3:31pm
@framed This is going to have to inevitably happen. There are too many overlapping resource mods to make it easy for everybody, and I hate that I am going to have to force a choice. I am going to wait until the fall patch lands and then see what happens with the other resource mods and then make a hard decision. Most likely I will (with permission and credit) grab the ones I want and fold them so I can add the rest of the Corps that I have on deck.

It goes without saying, but this mod couldn't have been done without the work folks like you are doing, so I am eternally grateful and pleased that we can enrich the gaming lives of our fellow gamers.

@TD I completely agree with your feedback. The biggest problem I have to mitigate right now is 1) I don't have the graphic talent to make resource mods, and 2) there are so many resource mods that have overlapping resources. My mod philosophy is to make mods that play well with the majority of other mods. I like to give us players choice. So I am working on it, and thinking about it for sure, I just don't want to do anything that makes you guys have to make a hard choice and not use Corporations because of these mod conflicts.

on ynaemp, only the tea spawns, with the historically accurate settings

Love the mod Envoy, a highlight of your highly polished collection. My only suggestion would be the addition of some earlier Renaissance era corporations, perhaps involving historically well traded items of that era such as tea or spices, that would add an extra corporate dynamic earlier with a weaker gold bonus that perhaps increased to the level of the modern corporations when that era is reached. Warm regards,

@Envoy I think your life if going to be much simpler, and the Corp mods much stronger, if you fold in just the resources you need for your purposes. Then you'd have control over resource placement, bonuses, builds and such like to get the exact balance you need for your mods. This may require some excludes on existing resource mods, but I think its worth it to users, particularly Steam users, for the ease of installation and use.
Envoy  [author] 27 Aug, 2013 @ 3:03pm
@FA I am indeed thinking about that as it does make sense, so yes, good call. :) I am currently trying to think bigger picture about resources with your excellent mods being back, as well as Barathors, and the CCTP bonus resources mod again. Problem I have is all the overlaps. I may have to make a fourth one that combines them and removes the extras. We will see. What are your thoughts on the matter?

Hate to spam your thread, but if you're including the resource pack, maybe Tea could be worked into Think Drink?

@Framed Thank you very much!
