as of pvp ship , it`s kinda weak and overpriced. But damn , it looks fantastic !

indeed some of those mods need to be running at the start of the game or you wont have ore deposits of the new stuff.

i build the hanger copped the hanger and conected them

the hangers where built out of heavy armor blocks and replaced them with a stronger grapheen blocks that use items made of carbon powder from carbon ore witch the mod says is as rare as
tin so i thin this will take a lot of time to get on survival so it will have small fighters to defend in from small fighters that it wont be able to reach it will have the idea as your ship the break point
not as a weapon but to save some of the item for if it gets destroyed so i can survive to re build it better than before the ship is 99 blocks wide huge. i could not make the hanger doors large enough for what i wanted so i had to go with modded force feald doors to cover the 20 block tall door

this will be survival ready lots of fighters some huge mother ships some rovers some patroll ships
some drones and some drones the will use welders and projecters to create mining stations that will dig very deep the go back up to let the terrane respawn

i will use your idea for on the BREAK POINT ship you built so if it is going to get destroyed i can launch part of the ship and use it for to items to build a base and rebuild the huge ship i think from the size of it it would be like a mother ship and fighters size ratio but the fighters are mother ships

and if you want you can put it on the work shop with your own changes to it

my best advice is to build the hangars first and then build the ship around the hanger. Decortive armor is really a throw it on, then delete parts till it looks cool. Its hard to standardize. : D

also how do you make such good looking ships can you give me tips

i am trying to make a ship with its hangers inside of it and the hangers being 20 blocks tall 22 if you add its walls

on creative mode before building it on survival

I change my mind there are three dlc’s I use allot:
Space engineers- decorative pack
Space engineers- decorative pack #2
Space engineers- frostbite

ooooo good question...there are two decorative packs. I would get those. I don;t use the other dlc stuff that much but those two packs got the mint textures and the most blocks.

@Alysus true. Maybe with some work... (You seen "Steal tech"? It is where you use rotors to build blocks seperate, but very close. The turrets only target machines, and if it's blocked by armour, ignores them. By doing that, it's hidden. Maybe something like that could protect it... but, on this build? The best you can do is hope the turrets stop missiles!

@CTH2004 Unfortunately the rotor turret weakness not easily mitigated. Ships using rotor turrets get it blown away with 1 missile and you cant even shield it without making it bulky or block its arc of fire.

It is fast, and a good ship. The only issue I have is that the turrets have their rotors exposed. That is a major weakspot, but I can imagine making it look good and covering it could be a pain! (Maybe, instead of making a part of the turret go down , a part of the ship goes up?) The turrets do have weak spots elswhere, but they are so small, that the only way to hit them is with missiles, and it's hard to make something not be harmed by misles!) So, the rotor is the main weakspot, due to it's size.

Besides that, quite effective! Best PVP Ship? No. Worst? No (Look at mine... and tremble in laghter!)

@Sneks -try turning the ship on and off, and make sure the gravity drive script is on, other wise the ship is slow AF. You may not have scripts turned on.

@delta -I'm glad you approve

@adam -harsh but fair criticism, I took the ship on a sever and she did well under fire, but not against remote controlled missiles. I don't plan on making any more pvp ships. The meta changes often and everyone needs something different. But this was an "ok" first effort.

@AdamShadow PVP viability really depends on server settings. on modded servers vanilla ships may not even fare well against modded ships (most servers have some sort of mod list in place). This ship is designed for vanilla script enabled servers, most of its defense os based on Point Defense systems.

@CTH2004 Diamond Dome script just completed with tutorial description. It is scheduled for release today (GMT +8). This ship uses the DD script that is ome version earlier (all earlier versions are private atm).

The issue with PVP ships is they cant look good since they have to be made so that the entire front of the ship is covered with weapons and autorepair all of them. This is not even remotely a decent PVP ship since it does not autorepair itself and is extremely wide and high therefore it will get very hit very often. Also ships covered in blast doors are much better because the integrity/weight ratio is much better and they are less prone to damage from kinetic munition such as player guided missiles without warheads. The current PVP meta is just reversing at 100m/s all the time away from your adversary and shooting at him with either a wall of gatling guns at the front of your ship or spamming remote controlled missiles. Scripts are disabled on almost all servers so using them is pointless. I hope this helps you with building better designs.

finally got to try it out
-The design is awesome
-Love the custom heavy grid turrets

The only problem I have been experiencing is that it is slow to get to fast speeds and slow to go to
slow speeds from high speeds

Overall still a great design

Wow Adaline it's been ages since i've had a look at SE and when i saw this in the workshop i'm thinking woah what's with the Geometric algorithm having a fit haha? but none the less cool design! :selike:
