I'm experiencing the same issues as @AthruZGaming is with extremely low FPS even though I'm running with good hardware. AMD FX-8350 processor and AMD 280x graphics.

The problem is the amount of vehicles there, arma 3 (or any other arma/ofp game for that matter) needs much more resources than BF, another problem is that it's not that well optimized for a range of graphic cards but BI seems to be working on it.
I would suggest to decrease the view distance and test as many graphic settings as possible, probably it will get better.

I'm having an FPS issue. I've got a AMD FX8350 oc's to 5ghz and a EVGA GTX 660Ti NOT OC'D. On games like BF3-4 I get over 60fps on ultra BUT.. On this mission I struggle to get 25fps on lowest settings. I'm not sure whats happening. Great mission otherwise tho!

The problem is right now if I expand them more it will add sigfinicant lag, I could try to use EOS thought. I used that before but it have some big drawbacks. I will take a look at it again.

You have no idea how much fun we had on this map. Massive ATV crash derbys, Jet group stunts, creative little minigames we created. We spent 4 hours just having fun.
I have not laughed so much in more than a few years.

For me they just work fine in my mission, if you need help for your own mission take a look at jesters tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTVhTWPdg1M it's really great! (thought I usually hate video tuts)

The biggest lag problem is coming from the enemy patrols around altis and their base, I am thinking about a random Patrol generator with less patrols at the same time.
Another thing you can do is to disable the AI in the mission at server start, but then you got no AI squad mates.

It would be cool to be able to set the weather and time ourselfs, so we can also play at night.

But also sometimes when I am at the other side of the map walk around for a minute come back car is gone. The respawn rade could be a few minutes slower. A lot slower!

Hey good fun on the map, here is my suggestions to increase the FPS on next update. Remove all the vehcials that have AI.

Add only empty vehcials you could add two of each without much diffrence in the Fps
the problem lies with the amount of ambiant AI inside the base such as on the mortars,inside helecopters etc.

if you just add the empty versions it would cut so much of the lag away.


Increase the Respawn rate for the destoryed vehcials
changeing the weathers overcast to clear

thos suggestions should greatly improve the fps! :)

We have some fun yesterday. We decided to use a sniper (me) and the ground drones (my buddy). I mean from the roof of the solar tower you can get opfor soldiers, from 700-1100mt, good training. At ground level with the stomper, seems hard too overcome the infantry. That vehicle is weak with that wheels, it's better to shoot from a good distance. Anyway a good mission to enhance our skills, expecially with helos and UAV. tnx.

You can enjoy the heli's, the unoccupied ones are down the strip abit, also could you test the drone/uav. You can't access them, and if you put down the quad rotor one (small one) the stomper just shoots it. Still great work!

Yea Bullgatti, the problem is that if I put 2 or more of every vehicle in the map it would slow the mission even more down, I think it's enough that they respawn.
