Nice find, thanks for reporting that!
Im not really surprised that the dmg is off, this mod is really old and is not actively maintained.

If you want a mod like this, i'd just say either just rip this one and fix it or make one yourself, since im not in the l4d2 modding scene anymore.

Its righthanded because you accidentally set "BuiltRightHanded" to 0 in the mp5's weapon script. Also, some of the stats are slightly outdated ( the mp5 now does 26 damage, but in your mod its 24 )

@vicious bird Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Shame it isn't just set by a value in the gun's script file instead of the ammo type.

it has the same issue with all the other pistol-smg gibbing mods. it might be because you switch it with magnum ammo but idk im not a modder

@vicious bird Im pretty sure it's not supposed to do that. But if it is, then just uninstall it I guess. I might check it out at some point.

@★JคҜe★, I don't really know, This addon mods some core weapon script files. So it probably requires the server owner and all who join it to have the same addon. Though maybe not. All I can say is experiment. Sorry i'm not more help. And as for getting banned.. I don't *THINK* so, But not sure.

I've done that, it just doesn't work. Other mods do however. I'm not sure but I used your older gibbing mod awhile back. I'm sure that if this worked it would be great! Keep it up!

Rear-Admiral-SeaDaddy, Hmm. Idk why it wouldn't. Unless you have a conflicting addon, or didn't enable it. Or it might require the game's restart? Maybe try enabling it then restarting l4d2?

@bird, Unfortunately no. I tried to look it up but I didn't see anything about it. Considering its apart of the gore system of the game I would probably need l4d2's source code to remove the limit. There also doesn't seem to be any CVars for it neither. Would be awesome though!

it makes smgs and pistols make holes in zombies. btw, graymainer, do you know if there is a way to make it so zombies can be gibbed more than twice?

@Ms.Kanna, (i think thats how you address people...) It's bright because I turned on full bright. Sorry about that, I just wanted to make sure people saw what I was talking about.
