Also fixes bugged music as you can skip the song.
On steam, right-click on the game/properties/installed files and click on "verify integrity of game files"
Thanks, Terra Novum was driving me insane.
Sadly, not that I know of. The only way to do this is turning off in-game music and creating a playlist of your own using the music files in the game directory.
Thanks
Do the songs change normally if you don't press the button?
I would try validating the game files and double checking if another mod alters music files for a start.
but when I click the music button, music is changed randomly based on my civilization. I am sick of it to listen the same music all the time.
I want to listen other civilization's music during play one civilization or I want to select music.
Would you please update this mod??
I did some more research and yes, you're absolutely correct in what you said.
The moment you select "Mods" on the main menu, you opt out of achievements for that game.
I run all my pc applications as administrator - im not claiming your mod is not working - just the issue I had when trying to subscribe to it- so yeah, probably a steam bug.
And yes, 1 file had to be re-downloaded and installed after I ran the civ5 integrity of the game.
Its ok - ill just pass on the mod - thank u for your reply
This mod is literally two 1 kb files that
1. adds the button to the game UI (does not alter existing GUI, it is placed on top of everything)
2. defines the action of said button (does not have any requirements or shared resources)
And subscribing to mods should never remove ANY game files. That also does not make any sense and would not be required in any circumstance.
I would say it was probably a Steam bug, since you noticed the download got stuck too.
Also, subscribing is not enough, you need to create a modded game and activate the mod in the menu.
Try closing Steam and starting Steam with administrator privileges (with right click -> Run as admin...). Then try again with any mod. I believe this will likely solve your issue.
So, hitting the subscribe button not only failed to install the mod, it also managed to remove/delete an essential file for the game to run - lol so sad :)
Anyway - my game is working again.
Checked the mod file in the game directory under C/user/my documents .... nothing to be found there.
Cleared download cache - unsubscribed - subscribed again - mod stuck in download - game will not load passed intro screen - game broken now
I never used a mod for Civ 5 until this try out - shame it did not work, more shamefull it broke my game :)

I originally had plans for a drop-down menu, a space for more functionalities, but I could never get those functionalities to work properly, so I disabled it. Maybe there is still some XML for it left, though.
work goods.
Would be awesome if could play specific songs but sadly im crap at programming
