Thanks for the explanation. Reading about your creative process makes me notice it's not that different from mine. I also start with one thing in mind and, as you, things just appear during the process. The thing is, though, that I not always finish with my intended design, LOL. But nevertheless, thanks for this info and for the Google tip. Probably just a matter of practice. I'll keep creating and "Googling" inspiration for new styles. Thanks a lot for this and for your wonderful workshop creations! ^_^

Thank you very much! :-) No, I am not an architect. :D I like to try out different things until I like them. For example on this build I wanted to create a round shaped base. The outer ring was the first element I have completed. The idea for an open atrium and the glass roof came later while messing around with the center columns. One thing leads to another. It is a lot of trial and error though. And maybe it helps if you google for some cool architecture and get inspired by it. ;)

Man, all your creations are awesome. Are you an architect? i keep asking myself why I can't be creative like this! You see things where they are not. I look and see blocks. I try hard to put them together. You look the same blocks and see a plaza, a garden, a meeting room and a modern sci-fi-Star-Trekish Federation Station. How? :D Congrats! (an yes, please, tell me how I can improve my creative skills... any tips appreciated. Kudos for you! :D )

Great contrast using the warmer textures (rock & carpet & wood) in the living areas to the sleeker textures (glass and metal ) in the structural areas like the dome. Very nice work on the dome. The support beams incorporate nicely with the glass itself. Very well done, as we've come to expect from you
