I'm using all the Ancient Rim mods, and they do work Using stuff like empire, Rim War, diplomacy type mods. It is all functional with 1.2.

I just check again and it seems that its compatible with the unofficial version too. I just reorder my mods and it appears to be working fine now. So if you only plan to use this mod and the core maybe you will be fine.

Compatibility with any other mods its uncertain since other mods are still been working on so any change may make this mod obsolete.

It seems that the unofficial version of JecsTools does not work with this but the original works just fine.

So maybe its compatible with 1.2 after all

Since it's pure XML code any modder could potentially update this, JecsTools(Unofficial) and AncientRim Core worked fine, for me, on 1.2.

But without explicit permission of the author any update/fork could be potentially take down.

@eromanov87 How? it just shows a big list of errors for me.

Any way to make it compatible with Vanilla Factions Expanded - Medieval? Found out that there's two versions of grapes and wine should these two mods enabled.

I'm just curious any plans to add more armor or just like add more variants of armor. Like more helmets with plumes or like armor that can have color variations. I know it is far fetched for someone who does not mod but I was watching a Rome Total War 2 Divide Et Impera game and seen silver shield pike men and bronze helms with yellow, white, red, and blue paint on them. Stay safe and cozzy away from these troubled times.

Getting an error stating it requires Ancient Rim Core to be loaded. And I have it loaded prior to. Error still there.

@mrpastry: The steam workshop provides a changelog which I use. Please look there for update informtion. By the way: wine isn't disabled anymore but you need Universal Fermenter now.
@Dizzy loeuy: You make armours at their cultural smithy after resarching both armour and culture.

So where do you build the armors once you research them? The ancient tailor bench has only clothes. Normal other productions don't have the armors... do i need the culture unlocekd too?

Had to go onto the forms to find out why I couldn't make wine, is it still disabled, if so, please post it here, I was tearing my hair out trying to figure out why only that part wasn't working.

@Raith : As long as JecsTools isn’t up to date I have removed all features Ancient Rim depends on. That means you can use the mod but there are now shields

Shield storaeg should be fixed again. At least I hope so.
The bug with simple sidearms sadly isn’t up to me to fix. You should tell the creators of JecsTools since I made the shields using this framework

Shields not showing up in the storage menu is the only issue I have with this mod. Other than that, it's amazing.

Heyho, lately I'm getting a bunch of issues with this one, mainly that the right-click menu won't show up at all, and paws don't do anything. I get red error messages that say something about a null value in Verse.AI.ThinkNode_PrioritySorter TryIssueJobPackage

I can of course post the whole report.
Since I run a hundred of mods, I'd really like to not got through the process finding out which one conflicts with ancient rim, but I suppose it is a conflict since I only get this problem when having SPQRim active (the core mod doesn't produce this error)

When will the shields be fixed to appear in storage list and also will shields be able to crafted with different materials like silver an such? I just wanna make a Seleucid silver shield.
