please make an update for newest version that fixes the shit show paradox tried to make, this mod was so much better than their overpriced DLC,the DLC basicly just adds a nice UI.
Digheld 20 Mar, 2020 @ 10:03pm
Maybe this mod can add more interesting laws that aren't just buffs to political power and add more federation laws? Just an idea
Arson with Lemurs ◕ω◕ 19 Mar, 2020 @ 10:48am
So i guess it's obsolete in 2.6?
Xherdos 3 Feb, 2020 @ 9:47am
is there a option to quit the elections its quit annoying to be elected as the federation leader
temujin321 25 Nov, 2019 @ 8:01pm
I assume that you won't be updating this since the new DLC is in the works, but on the off chance you do I was wondering if you could maybe put the link to the proposals in the Federation Menu? I recently started using UI Overhaul and it causes the Federation Proposal button to disappear from the policy screen.

Thank you for all the work you did maintaining this mod, it is one of my most used and favorite mods.
fnix 13 Nov, 2019 @ 1:14pm
Does it work with 2.5?
QalaniKing4351 3 Nov, 2019 @ 4:35am
it says it right there
:steamfacepalm:
QalaniKing4351 3 Nov, 2019 @ 4:35am
don't worry im blind
QalaniKing4351 3 Nov, 2019 @ 4:35am
how often can you make a federation proposal? I want to change the method of choosing the leader of the federation (I am the leader) from election to supremacy, but I can't until I propose federal law...
Cassius Quartus 23 Oct, 2019 @ 4:37pm
... well I feel like an idiot; that fixed it. You have my thanks.
Pinenuts 22 Oct, 2019 @ 2:06pm
@Cassius Quartus Place UI Overhaul Dynamic mod before this mod and the button will appear
Cassius Quartus 20 Oct, 2019 @ 7:09pm
Is there a patch between this and UI Overhaul Dynamic? With both active, the "make federation proposal" button is not present in the Policies menu, which is... less than ideal.
Comrade Phoenix 14 Oct, 2019 @ 12:53am
Has this been confirmed to work in 2.4.X?
Stephen 26 Sep, 2019 @ 4:57pm
Consider each member gets a vote for each citizen pop and law needed for fed fleet.
PresidentWhitmore  [author] 14 Sep, 2019 @ 12:04am
@Ryan6584 make sure your fleet power is more than the current presidents. If after a month and your fleet power is higher, then you still aren't the president let me know.
PresidentWhitmore  [author] 12 Sep, 2019 @ 11:56pm
Added proposal available notification message. Working on the supremacy bug currently. Have to see where/why its happening in my playthrough
Bernos 12 Sep, 2019 @ 8:41pm
Can you post a change log for your updates. I always check to see what mods updated and it frustrates me to not know what changes.
Whos Gaming Now 30 Aug, 2019 @ 6:21pm
I know the mod says its 2.3 but I dont think this actually works with the current version of the game... I tried this Mod in 2 different saves one of which this is the only mod on and in both cases I can not get a vote to pass even when I have all ayes it fails. The logic this mod was using may have been broken by the recent update... Screen shot of what Im talking about ---> https://imgur.com/a/uS21hIn
Kcaz the 1st 18 Aug, 2019 @ 5:38pm
I'm having a similarish problem to @Ryan6584: The leadership is set to supremacy, and I am by far the most powerful member, but the weakest member ended up being president.
BlackCat 17 Aug, 2019 @ 5:16am
Federation leadership is supremacy, how do I challenge my current leader to set down?
Lord_Minio 16 Jul, 2019 @ 1:55am
@Arkad I think that sounds really cool, especially your levels of federation, but for your 5. point: have you tried changing the "federation leadership system"? You can set so every planet has one vote. And btw isn`t the fleet power already added to your own when you are the president?
Arkad 15 Jul, 2019 @ 2:58pm
This is the best federation mod on steam, but if i could submit future Ideas:
1. Rename the federation President, to Executive.
2. No federation fleets at start of federation, you will need to enact a law for the fleets.
3. A fleet law to transfer fleet power to the Executive instead of having a federal fleet.
4. Several levels of federation, (Think the Counsel form Mass Effect at lowest, UFP from Star Trek as middle, and the Galactic Republic in Star Wars as high level)
5. Votes come from total Pop count/number of planets. Not just 1 vote per member.
Little Tee 15 Jun, 2019 @ 8:22am
Do federations with only AI use this?
fuzzypurge 11 Jun, 2019 @ 3:49am
10 years are too long...how can i reduce it?
Lord_Minio 25 May, 2019 @ 1:41pm
@PresidentWhitmore I dont need a translation, but thanks for the update, now i know what i`m clicking ;)

PresidentWhitmore  [author] 25 May, 2019 @ 1:35pm
@Lord_Minio I just uploaded it as a work around for now for those who start on another localisation. It's not actually german. It's english
Lord_Minio 25 May, 2019 @ 1:25pm
Ok, me again, I looked a bit into the data and found a localisation for german (my language) now I dont want do annoy you but is this a bug or do I just got that wrong?
Lord_Minio 25 May, 2019 @ 1:06pm
Yeah you`re right, changing to english solved it, thanks for the help :D
PresidentWhitmore  [author] 25 May, 2019 @ 11:54am
@Lord_Minio sounds like you are on an unsupported localisation
Lord_Minio 25 May, 2019 @ 7:34am
Soo, I just started playing with the mod and i encountered a bug that every button is labeled like "sc.legislation.ext" as well as the text. I already tried deactivating all other mods but i didnt help. Btw im playing on 2.2.7
Spider 24 May, 2019 @ 2:19pm
An advanced vassal mod would be awesome! Even without the ability for them to declare war.
PresidentWhitmore  [author] 24 May, 2019 @ 10:31am
another thing is the holy roman empire was not a federation. I can see you being able to consolidate a federation but it would have to be a long a very difficult diplomatic process. I'm not really sure about how the mechanics would work but if someone wants to make a mod to do it, great - for now "Decentralized Empires" seems the best option for that. I was thinking about making a advanced vassal mod where vassals have more power - there are more vassal types - and there is a domain limit like in CK2 but paradox has hardcoded that vassals cannot declare war, so it's a no go for now.
Spider 24 May, 2019 @ 5:40am
@The Imperial House Look up "Decentralized Empires," it does pretty much exactly what you want, except the 'member states' are a unique vassal type.
Nootie the Cutie 22 May, 2019 @ 1:00am
Holy Roman Empire was a collection of members that were their own state. However the actually way of the Empire (Quoting Voltaire) Was neither Holy, Nor Roman, Nor an Empire. Its a collection of vassal Catholic states that really weren't anything. Just a very decentralised empire with no actual means.
The Imperial House 20 May, 2019 @ 4:30pm
can you consolidate the member nations into one huge empire like the holy roman empire in eu4, if not then its a waste of time
Liseq 20 May, 2019 @ 1:07am
It would be cool to add some event like "You can propose now" :steamhappy: It's the same story as it was with federation leader in vanilla
PresidentWhitmore  [author] 19 May, 2019 @ 11:27am
also the ai will propose policies so don't wait too long.
PresidentWhitmore  [author] 19 May, 2019 @ 11:25am
@Spectre, you have to wait 10 years between proposing policies
Liseq 19 May, 2019 @ 3:16am
Cannot ennact new laws. The button in "Policies" doesn't report to clicking.
Figaround 19 May, 2019 @ 2:31am
Compatible with save?
Tobiassaufus 14 May, 2019 @ 6:41am
Seems to be fixed :cozyspaceengineersc:
PresidentWhitmore  [author] 13 May, 2019 @ 4:52pm
in my playthrough i saw the fed flashing issue. Think I fixed it by modifying the defines so that vanilla doesn't overwrite who the fed leader is. Will see.
Tobiassaufus 13 May, 2019 @ 6:52am
@Steggy Same over here
Ace 12 May, 2019 @ 11:25pm
I'm not sure if this is common but every time I make a federation fleet it flashes. Like it disappears and reappears on the fleet UI. It switches from my control to my federation ally.
TurtleShroom 12 May, 2019 @ 4:21pm
Thank God. I HATE how Federations aren't elective anymore.
PresidentWhitmore  [author] 12 May, 2019 @ 2:31am
could be, id try without all those mods first off
Agent 22 12 May, 2019 @ 2:15am
i seem to have the same problem as @Krobis, where every day me and another empire swich places as federation leader.

that said i too have a large mod list so it could by a problem on my side aswell.
Wet Dog Squad 11 May, 2019 @ 9:45pm
I love this, but I'm getting a weird bug where my Egalitarian faction swaps president between the two founding nations ever in-game day, causing the UI to flicker constantly with federation ships, along with other weirdness.

It might be a conflict on my end, though, since my mod list is pretty damn big.
PresidentWhitmore  [author] 11 May, 2019 @ 5:11pm
should be, it rechecks variables every month so if you wait a until the next tick the mod should kick in
