"It defaults to 0 (vanilla functionality), raise it to set a limit."

I think it is fixed! well births now are not a problem. now i cant stop them :) what is the expected behavior with the slider at 0? no births or new game dome setting?

Sounds familiar :)

Happy to thoroughly test. side note unsure if you remember but i commented on your base walls mod way back and ended up on your friends list and with permission you used a couple of my ingame screen shots on that mods page. ...loading the game back up and testing the update. thanks!

Ah they changed Dome:CalcBirth() to Community:CalcBirth()

Explaining your issue in a manner that shows you testing stuff out is polite enough for me :)

how rude of me... also love all your other mods i sub to 75% of them great work and great job on updating them post patch.

when i have this mod enabled, no births occur no matter what the slider is set to. as soon as i disable the mod and reload boom 50 kids. reload again and enable the mod births stop. i also have your show birth progress mod and the % just stays at whatever it was when i saved before reloading.

It's a limit, but not a hard limit (if it dipped under 100 then whatever is in the queue will be born).

Slider is showing but births are not limited. I have medium dome with nursery and infirmary and has been set dome limit to 100 but children are still born and it is over 110 people now

The slider doesn't show?
Sellec 27 Jun, 2020 @ 9:31pm
It is not working.

Thanks for this mod. I was having an issue in the beginning from the other one, as I don't build nurseries at the start.

@John, once you for example set a dome to a value of a 10 and click to apply the value, when you build a new dome, the value is reset and then you need to set it to 10 again and reapply the value to your new dome and all others.

Not lazily, but if you use ECM then you can edit the stored number.
HowMuhKevinNah 24 May, 2019 @ 9:01pm
The slider is too sensitive.. can you add a way to enter a value manually?
ChoGGi  [author] 19 May, 2019 @ 9:28pm
That is the plan for this or another mod yeah.

Is it possible to limit births by the number of available nursery slots?
ChoGGi  [author] 16 May, 2019 @ 12:43pm
Added to the list

Awesome! Sounds much more straightforward than some other birth control mods.
ChoGGi  [author] 14 May, 2019 @ 6:44pm
It checks the number of children in a dome, if there's less children then the limit; it'll allow new babies, so you can have more children then the limit being born.
I didn't want to block the new child func, just in case weird stuff happened.
Magic Cuboid 14 May, 2019 @ 6:05pm
Does the slider work by setting a limit on the number of children at any given time?

Say I set a limit of 10 births in a dome, and then 10 children are born and births stop. Will births resume to fill the 10 birth quota as the old generation of children age out into youths?

It's on domes, if you don't see it... Mind posting a log of you loading a save then clicking on a dome?

and just realised I forgot to add the required item, how's it work with my lib mod installed?

I might be blind, but I don't see the slider anywhere. Help?
