But as @Alkpaz says, it's actually pretty easy to go in and just change some values around in this mod for your own use if you want something really crazy expensive :)
@Limão: Thank you for the feedback :) I basically just made this mod for my brother (I myself had never even installed a mod before making this, though I have a handful now) and decided to publish it in case anyone else was looking for similar. I'm certainly open to adjusting the recipes at some point, but this is just a first pass at a functionality my brother spent some time looking for and could not find - a way to make Archotech prosthetics using purely vanilla materials, tech, and workstations.
I did try not to make it TOO close to Bionics in terms of cost and difficulty to make, but I'm just some dink who learned how to make mods to make one for her brother ;) It may indeed be a bit on the cheap and unbalanced side. Might take a look at it later if "too easy" is the consensus.
i forgot about that - i remember now. (thats what 400 mods does lol) :)
so far i only have a few bionic parts (in storage) and some magnetic fingers (for the transhumanists), so not sure about balance as havent tech-ed up yet, though maybe if it is the ultimate endgame tech, 3 times as much cost might work?
Genetic Rim's usage of the term refers to Archotechs themselves, the incomprehensibly advanced AI from the Rimworld's own background lore which create archotech-level technology, such as the archotech level prosthetic parts. Genetic Rim is about harnessing such an AI as one of the many extra creature types that mod adds, as a win condition within that mod.
This mod simply lets you craft existing, high-tier prosthetics.
If Genetic Rim does not allow for crafting of these parts, then there should be no conflict. If it does, I do not recommend installing this mod with it.
