@Borgoth: Awesome. Glad you liked it. This map is definitely not my best work though.
@BL Horseman: Awesome. :) I bet if you feel that way, its likely true. Only if you did some ninja moves its probably not the right way. If every thing you did felt logical, its quite likely you got it right. :)

This map is really awesome! I spent about 3 hours with my friend to solve this. Sometimes this map made us angry, but then we found something that allowed us to go further and we were "damn, we have some progress" and continued to look for a solution until we started to get angry again lol
10/10, will play again

A) why are the horizontal walls of light there at all?

B) why do they (and a third vertical wall of light that comes online just before the acid pool) seemingly turn on or off based on where the player is standing, instead of being activated/deactivated by a button or other level object?

C) why is one of the buttons upside down (and incredibly awkward to press) instead of right side up when it easily could have been?

D) a checkpoint is desperately needed before the final stretch.

E) it's a little frustrating that, for 2/3 of the test chamber, messing up means the only way to reset is to kill yourself.

It has been really long since I last played this. All I know is that it is a very logical solution where you have to really figure out what does what where and then plan your route ahead. One player helps the other player to the exit, then the other player helps the first player to the exit. That's all I remember.

The videos are gone I'm afraid. I know this map has a bit of cheating options. Its not my best map.

Great ideas, but too easy to get stuck after figuring out all the tricks, requiring a complete reset.

You're very welcome KalinkA. Glad you like it too. I'm not that happy with this one actually and have considered deleting the map in order to substitute it for something different, but at the end decided against it. Now I'm glad I didn't. :)

Yeah, this map has some issues that I can't fix due to the complex mechanics involved. I've considered to remove the map and change it for another one, but then decided against doing that.

This one was solved (with polux) a bit more in unintended way. The double bridge part looks nice and fun looks like a good idea (love to see my partner walking over me :p) but is "easyly" broken by some jumping on new bridge tech (you know, you fire portal while jumping and you get over the bridge, no matter if it's a bottom bridge or a top one). I don't remember us using the button swapping bridge top to bottom, but i'm maybe wrong as it was polux job :p

Also, The way button is pressed at 7:20 on your video looks a bit weird, we prefered to walk on a top bridge, jump between the 2 lateral bridge and press it ^^

This chamber is SO. FUCKING. HARD. I spent literally 3 hours to solve this with my GF, and I loved it for that, it's purely logical yet so complicated. We were stuck because of the start, with the button in the top of the first room (I had to watch your video till that point), but afterwards it was so hard but so enjoyable. You're a monster for creating this, all of my praise upon you.

We never even touched the ceiling platform in the first room and we managed to end up on different bridge-levels by dropping down on 'm (had no clue what the jumping platform was for).

Sorry to hear that the experience wasn't what I entended it to be.

The idea is that both players do it at the same time, then walk through. This is something I can't do on my own, thus I cheated past in the video.

But I agree that there's one point that can trap yourself. The other player can still free you by walking back. There was no way for me to do this differently because people kept using it to bypass the puzzle.

You even cheat in the video. There's no way a human player can activate the button in the alcove and run back in time to get through the wall of light. The time that it's down for is like 2 seconds, tops. You can't even reach the button in your video, so you cheat through it.

This map began like any other, and then quickly devolved into punishing broken wall of light traversing. My partner and I spent a long time breaking this map by jumping and reshooting portals to actually have the wall of light work as intended.

Not to mention walls of light pop up and obstacles close, at one point entrapping me in a portal-less tunnel with no way to even kill myself.

This map is broken. Would not recommend.

This is an awful, AWFUL map. Ridiculously buggy. Kill yourself. I am contemplating doing so after attempting to beat this.

Thanks. Yeah, this one is really hard. I admit. And the map actually contains a bug, but nevertheless its still solvable. I am still doubting if I should fix it because fixing it may actually make things harder.

I do not want the players to be able to reach eachother because that would basically make things too easy.

But I'll look into making changes to the map. Maybe redo the last part entirely, given that I kind of stepped over a boundary and I damn well know I did... :P

Very good series and really fun, and this final 6th chamber is much harder than others. But during the way to the goal from last button (the room filled with laser grids) is a bit tricky and unfair in my opinion. We thought there may be a way to disable horizontal hard light bridge to let lower-side player come to upper-side. That point took us about 2hrs. Except that, awesome chambers.
