So couldn't find much about this but is there any way to get other characters with the same traits, buffs and special stuff that the wolverine start has? the NPC recruiment mod doesn't allow asking for the mutant race, but I was wondering if it was in any way possible to get. Just want to go around the world watching it burn behind an army of wolverine like soldiers xD

How much damage do those claws do? I've only tried few hours with rock bottom start and it seemed decent enough after few waves of fogmen. But do they scale good in to late game? Cheers

@LordofExploiters there are limbs in the place where you find him, but are mechanical ones.
@Grim Reaper, you find him in the Ashlands, a hidden building on the top floor
@Trinity, there is no way to make retractable claws unless I make the claws a separate weapon and not part of his race, wouldn't make sense cuz other ppl would be able to pick them up.
@克里斯Tina Logan has bonus in defense on katana skill, as empty handed he uses katana and no martial arts.
@Dylan Yes, you can patch the skill type on his race's file and change from katana to martial arts, that would change the animation in consequence.

@Jim Yea, I wish I could animate that one. But the tools to work that around don't exist. I would be able to do that if I made the claws a weapon, but they won't be attached and would be stolen when you are knocked down. The current claws cannot be stolen as they are part of the race

I love the mod. Only thing that bothers me is that the claws are out the entire time. I wish they'd just come out during combat. Still fun though.

This might come off as a bit odd but, I don't think Wolverine and the whole subrace should get a buff to dodge xp gain, in fact, I think they should have a sizeable penalty instead. The logic behind this comes from the fact that a rapidly healing immortal, would, by necessity, be far less concerned with protecting themselves(because doing so would provide no tangible longterm benefit), instead opting to take far more rewarding offensive maneuvers, which would, under normal circumstances, often be an absolutely insane, suicidal risk, but have almost no consequences to them.

Probably a bug related to in-game crafting? As far as I know there shouldn't be any issue with any item equipped on wolverine that is not race restricted. I heard that sometimes items could go wonky if you get a 'critical' while crafting on very high levels.
Also check that those boots are not "modded", because as far as I know, if you set an item with gear_max status, it will reduce athletics 100%.

Hi zheyon, just a tiny question, does this mod take into account the masterwork plated longboots that removes athletics penalty? I noticed something odd, after plonking that longboot into wolverine, his athletics is minus 1 eventhough its masterwork quality.

Hi @slpc04, thank you! The claws are viable even in late game.. any weapon you equip will be used instead of the claws. Against armored NPC they are balanced. There are other weapons better than claws against heavy armour. Claws shine against animals.

Ty for this wonderful mod. Just would like to know, if i just use wolferine's claws, would that be enough for mid to end game? How about against robots and armored mobs? Will he use weapons I put in his weapon slot? Which weapons are good for him? Ty in advance!

Regarding swimming, it is intended that way, since wolverine has a metal alloy body, much like an skeleton, so I configured him to walk underwater.

Hi @zheyron after i go different city that have hospital it seem 100% cant use this wolverine to enter the building of hospital. I also find out that this mod the character cant swim like normal character. so far only this 2 things i found out weird about ur mod. if you can fix this, it will be great and lovely mod.

Hie @zheyron, im using Crow's World: Hub Rebuilt, the things is the wolverine cant event step on the door of the building hospital. the building have sign + and its selling healing items and also the bed to use. its not stuck but i cant enter the building and its the only building i cant enter when i use ur mod with Crow's World: Hub Rebuilt mod. u can try use Crow's World: Hub Rebuilt and use wolverine mod and test it in the city The Hub. you will know what i mean. i would call the building hospital because it sell first aid kit and also have the bad and sign +.

Hi @Zokuren. Can you please detail what mod (link) are you using that adds a hospital in the hub and conflicts? May you clarify what situation is your character being stuck? Is it stuck by terrain? Does it happen without my mod?. Please verify. Thanks!

i find out when use this mod, my wolverine or other char that i hire cant enter the hospital shop that using the hub rebuild. pls fix this because i cant enter the hospital building TT event my other char that i hire also cant enter the building.

@zheyron, followed your directions that change claws to MA skill. overpowered but so much fun. thanks again. Also, the not losing limbs issue would work perfectly with a deadpool character. Low hit points so he is always beat up and mutilated but never dies. This game has great bones for a total conversion marvel universe. If only i had the patients for modding.

@SlimCognito, I tried several ways but it is not possible, unless you make him an animal, but then it will be impossible to use it's current configuration.
Face customization with certain mods would need a compatibility patch. You can use the 5 male faces from vanilla though.
