Playing with this mod since.. August 2019, had to disable the giant turtles in Grey Desert due to their huge collision box.
Yes the Bloodhounds are deadly. I usually have a character stationned in The Shield and when a pack of 7+ come it's slaughter time. Good thing is (spoiler) they sleep during the day. Better have your little guys (and girls) improved toughness and nice armor.
The other creatures are nice too *evilsmile*
One of the Essential mods for me.

bloodhounds were hitting my skellys for 100 (skelly start, all newborn, but still). I had to unsubscribe as that is waay too unbalanced

The bloodhounds are ridiculous, absolutely no cooldown in their attack, a nest of them could easily take down catlon.

Any reason why the deathclaw has only one attack slot?
Made a quick fix for it, because that's just ridiculous.

Also toned down some spawn numbers in some squads. Spider Crabs were particularly egregious. Same for horses and mules, though to a lesser degree.

Landstriders are currently missing attack animations but I LOVE THEM, THEY'RE SOOOOO COOL.

I love this mod even though it's still kind of incomplete.

Good mod and love most everything it adds... Spider Crabs are still a huge problem though. If you know how OP crabs, and animals in general are in this game... The literal hundreds of them in certain places is borderline psychotic. Completely overboard. I can see it has been nerfed before, but as of writing this I would say there are 2-3x as many crab spawns as there should be at base spawn rates. I like how they make certain areas more dangerous, but let me put it like this: If thee strongest army in the game, the Eyegore assault went into the Iron Trail, they would never be heard from again.

Is there a way to tame all these beasts? I have tame beasties mod but it doesn't cover all of them I don't think. I do have a pack of Hyena Bonedogs following me now. Not as strong as a normal Bonedog but looks cooler. :P

Hello I love this mod but some animals dont go well with the game for me and i was wondering if you can release or there can be a way to alter the spawn rate of the other creatures.

hay i have started a base and i am doing good but there seem to be alot of corp louse showing up at my base and they chew through my gate.
i was just wondering is there a way to combat them before they get into the base. i have a mounted crossbow but they are so slow.

i went out of the border zone to try and set up base. there are tons of man eaters in okrans pride.
They wont stop chasing me and 1 killed some of my team.
I would like to know is it meant to make the game harder? or am i just under leveled.

I've have witnessed multiple situations where NPC's standby and watch as crop lice eat their entire village's harvest.

Hi, it adds new animals. All vanilla animals are still there but in some cases, their spawn rates are adjusted.

Hi & sorry for replying late, I was on a rock festival... I have several creatures in mind that I would like to add. However I cannot give any ETA as I'm currently focusing on a difficult update for my other mod "Out on a Limb", and the summer is freaking hot, so less modding these days.

Hi Fr◊st 氷, that's very easy to do for yourself. Just open my mod in the FCS, click "changes", filter for "boneyard" and revert the changes.

So, I slightly reduced the spawn rates of the Spider Crabs and also made the two squads that came with the largest numbers to not increase with spawn rate settings. So you still have a massive "Crab Wander" with vanilla 1.0 setting but no "population explosion" with higher settings ;-)

Also new with this update: A custom model for Boneyard Wolves. Now they no longer look like inflated and recoloured Bonedogs. Also a unique and valuable Death Item for a certain very powerful beast. Happy hunt... ehh dying!

They seem to be pretty high. Even at 1 there are a lot. Certainly makes coastal life interesting! Crabby bastards!

Thanks for your reply. I'll have a look, maybe the values for crab spawn are higher than the crawlers or the lice, or also than most vanilla encounters, then I'll reduce them.

I did increase the spawn rate to 3, and when I encountered the crawlers and lice it didn't affect the fps nearly as bad, and they were really cool. I think because the (spider) crabs are so large and aggressive it caused the issue.The whole coast line was crawling with them and they kill everything (except Leviathans) just by sheer numbers. The spider crabs would easily be top of the food chain just by how many there were! I'm going to try it again with the spawn rate at 1 and see how it goes, Thanks for the reply and keep up the good work.

Hi revengeful lobster, thanks a lot for your nice comment! Did you have normal or raised spawn rate settings when you encountered the crabs? Also, did you have similar issues when encountering Carrion Crawlers or Crop Lice? All those are meant to come in large numbers, but maybe the values for the crabs are a bit too high. I'll look into it.

Pretty good, but WAAAY too many king crabs esp in the Leviathan Coast area and Iron Trail. They were causing serious frame rate issues. Othe than that pretty cool. Blood Hounds are pretty terrible as well. Super Bone Dogs.... That eat you.

Awesome-sounding mod, dude! I wish there were a couple more screenshots to show us some of the brand new beasties, but I understand the need to keep the element of surprise. I'll add it to my game and return with a more learned perspective.
