Added button to landscape construction sites to reset the size of the landscaping area (new ones not existing).
I can use Discord, but which forum?
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2391106222
Tool size 3/214,748
Hexes covered 4,203/8,000
Size Boundary 80/80
Now...
10/10
370/8,000
26/80 That's the largest it would go?
Has anyone else had this problem that you know of? It seems to just split grids randomly, or maybe after loading the game - programmer in me is thinking some function to iterate through the buildings is getting woozy at configurations that should be impossible. I would love to figure out what's ok to place this way but it's so frustrating once it happens because tracking down the problem building is really trial and error.
If you add this feature to this mod, it will be great. Thanks anyway, useful mod.
I'll be more careful with my next setup I guess :)
And I though that since there was no crash when I landed that zone that I would be fine :)
As for saves, not only I have 10 auto-saves enabled but I also keep regular saves as well. So I can go back. I just need to find which one is the latest while being before I started that project.
Allow Out Of Bounds: Turn on to landscape out of bounds (warning can crash when used near the edge of map, save first) .
I'd say that save is gone. I take if you turned off the autosave option?
Here is the link to an archive on my Google Drive that contains the crash file and the save file that generated it (I think you have less than a Sol to play for the crash to happen).

How big of an area?
But now it crash to desktop whenever it goes to the step "Levelling terrain" at the end or even if I try to cancel the task itself before it crash. Even deleting it through the ECM crash to desktop.
Is there a way to fix that mistake I made or the only way is to go back in time before I placed it and be more careful? I can also provide a savefile and a crash file (the game made one) if needed.
Fow now i downloaded "enable console", disabled all mods other than:
your library | enable console | remove landscaping limits
and still see that overlaping grid issue on new map.
The following is the message shown from enable console:
Invalid autoattach ProductIcon for entity Assembler
Buildable grid computing too slow! Took 1111
Reloading lua files
Reloading done
Invalid autoattach ProductIcon for entity Assembler
starting sector selected: E1
Like the other msg from you, I'll take some logs (preferably one of you trying that).
However i did notice a rather annoying bug with this one:
When running this mod, try to place multi-grid objects.
The grid will fail to detect overlapping, allowing wrong placement.
It does not always happen, and resets when all grids overlap,
so try it a few times. It is more obvious with larger objects.
It seems that this mod has a bug.
When I Flatted the location that includes a Landing Pad, then it is ruined as you see.
Here is list of mods I use: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2600489831
Automated Tourism, Mars Radio One and Unlimited Scanning aren't updated, so currently are disabled.
It's not very inconvinient, as I can just turn on the mod in Mod Options only for bigger landscaping projects or flattenieng ground close to other building which doesn't happen very often, so it's more about letting you know than asking for immidiate fix.
Many thanks for doing such a great job with your mods and especially QoL ones! :)
Skip Blocking Objects option works good with landscaping tool, but no matter if it's On or Off (which has confusing reverted description as Ridesdragons wrote over 2 years ago :D) it doesn't apply to buildings. If the mod is active, I can place buildings on top of each other no matter what settings I use - I only get Blocking object info, but I don't even see which hexes overlap as hexes from already placed building aren't glowing yellow like they do without mod.
it reads "enable to be able to paint terrain near buildings. this will also allow you to place buildings in odd places", and is set to "off" by default. to my understanding, this means "turn on to pint near buildings, turn off to keep vanilla blocking". however, leaving it off lets you place buildings on top of each other and paint near buildings. turning it on, however, prevents you from painting terrain or building on top of other buildings.
I do not have ECM installed.
