Shouldn't need a mod for this, Tynan. Just like the tribal headdress. I can go make a hoopstone in my backyard right now with random junk from my garage. I wasn't born in a neolithic era, but I know how to put a circle on top of a stick! :steamfacepalm:

Also lots of people in the beginning do overwrite when they start modding so there's not much there


I suggest both of you move on, 2 persons e= can have same idea and variation on a niche mod , yeah not gonna happen

To be Frank patching is done the same way for a long time, there's practically no variation on that.

The i know entering 1.0 it was not fully xpathed but the first bit of xpathing has been contained since B19 Sept 25 2018 to be exact. the mod still contains that same xpathing.

To be specific, for anyone who may give a hoot, in the beginning of RW1.0 I saw an outdated mod I liked the idea of, tried to update and release it for 1.0, it caused issues though as it was over writing base game files and had to be rewritten from scratch , so I learned xpath patching three years ago for fun.

So, this MOD, was written from scratch by me. Nice idea though Foxy.

You're the only one ever had an idea to make things craftable that aren't in the game? Did your mod overwrite base game files or was it xpath patching? I know this one is xpath patching because it was written from scratch by me. :)

I don't know or care who you are at this point.

Nice, TYVM. i'll look into this. I tried to follow what the instructions said the day after it released, but now that it's out for a bit i'll see how others have released their mods to see if I understood it correctly or not and if I can make any changes.

From what I've gathered, it is prefered to use "<supportedVersions>" and then let 1.0 have the error, as its an old release anyway.

Yes that's correct. From what I understand that's the only way to make them compatible with both. I see a lot of mods that were 1.0 being released again for 1.1. May not want to deal with the errors.

I got an XML error that said "<supportedGameVersions><li>1.1</li></supportedGameVersions> doesn't correspond to any field in type ModMetaDataInternal." To fix that, remove <suportedGameVersions> and that should fix the issue.

I got no error afterwards in the error console as I removed that in the about.xml. I guess with update 1.1, mods must use the <supportedVersions>

@Koi - TY for letting me know. Those errors may be due to it also being available for 1.0. Are you having any issues building the items? This is only patching the tech levels and the research requirements for most items, not editing the core items themselves. I will look though the new core files and this MOD to see if there are any inconsistencies.

Update pushed with xpath patching. No longer overwrites core files.
