Was checking the game log after playing to see if anything came up, and the carrier launch target rich version throws this. Are you missing a sound file?

DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\667970\1743235528\FF-Carrier-Enemy-NoFire\FC_Desert_Free_Flights_F45A\Command-EasternAirbaseFighterScramble.mp3".

Crunchy[Daz], I reported this on the dev discord.
In the near term, unsubscribing and subscribing to the campaign again should fix it.
