HI guys, I unsubscribed to this mod and error! none has no friendly name in the pistol selection is still persistent-lots of them! I've delete the config folder and it's still there. I'm using the latest AML version. How do I get rid of it? thanks.

It has appeared. :-) Confirm it can be used as primary and dual, and has its 3 slots.

Yeah i read the desc, but im a newb so vocabulary is really unfamiliar to me, so i know it's "configurable" but whether it's configurable the way I'm thinking of is a mystery :D Thaniks

If you read the description, it states where you can find the configuration file for this mod. It does let you change the damage done by this pistol.

Hey I don't need anything fancy, how do I make it so tier 2 it's twice as powerful (or maybe 1.5x) and tier 3 it's three times as powerful (or a further 1.5x - we'll have to look at the damage it's doing)?? thanks

Ok looking through the file and reading and actually understanding how the ini file references to the uc file, i was able to modify all my pistol mods by adding the pistolname_tier_iupgradeslots so they all have 1 slot for tier 1, 2 for mag and 3 for beam. Thanks for your help, really useful!

Yes, that's the upgrade slot numbers. I hope you don't expect to be able to change mod's code just like that?

A: No. I mean, you can edit the source code all you want, but it will not lead to anything useful. The .uc source code files are shipped alongside mods just for reference. You could delete all of them and the mod would still work perfectly fine. The actual code of the mod is shipped in the form of compiled .u files. If you edit those, the game will likely just start crashing, and you will not be able to achieve what you wanted with your changes. Yes, even if you just want to change one digit of one number, it will still not work.

So it is categorized as a pistol as far as I understand

This mod file has the "Template.NumUpgradeSlots = 3;" line on it, is that the upgrade slots numbers?

You probably just need to add upgrade slots to these pistols. Primary Secondaries adds upgrade slots only to vanilla pistols by default, I think.

Ok, thanks for the answer! Im using M3 Predator Pistol and Duke's M1911 Pistol mods and I can't seem to find a way to attach upgrades (stocks/scopes/etc) to them, only to the ones mentioned before. I disabled all mods / wiped config, loaded only primary secondaries with needed mods and still got the same result.
Went to custom pistols files just to make sure and they are labeled as "pistol". Weird

Would be awesome to play akimbo with these customs pistols you made

I'll look into it when I have time. Yes, primary variants of pistols are created by Primary Secondaries. Akimbo doesn't touch inventory items in any way.

Hi! Im using Akimbo (with all its needed mods, have played several campaigns with akimbo's mod) and some modded pistols, and I can't get the pistols to act as primary weapons. I cannot use attachments on them, but with standard/legacy pistol there's no problems. Shouldnt modded pistols be loaded as primary weapons with primary secondaries?

This mod crashes the game when you try to upgrade pistols to tier 3 for some reason.

Dude a bug report should not require a donation, period. Granted I should have been more clear.

Here is a video showing it. https://youtu.be/YEeO5IDmw_I In this specific instance master and effects volumes were at 50%.
When volume is set to max, the level of the pistol is a tad higher then it should be but it's well within reason.

Sorry, I only typically do requests for people who support me on patreon. The firing sound is fine in my opinion. You can replace weapons' firing sounds with Weapon Skin Replacer.
