Well is not a mod, is you uploading mods for yourself and your own use, trust me its a good way to save you collection of mods for when you reinstall the game on another pc or something like that, you no longer spend hours to find them, ofcorse even if they are not uploaded by you if you are subscribed your game still downloads them, the private collection thing applies for gamemaps mods which are not on the workshop and you can't upload them as public but you still want them on workshop for the reason i mentioned earlier

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll try to contact Alex, maybe he will upload it to the Workshop. Maybe i'll try the "private only" mod, that's a good suggestion :steamhappy:

Also, why not ask Alex himself to upload it on the workshop?,just go to his profile via one of his mods,go to his most recent mod,or any of his mods and leave a comment with the request and the link which you provided down there,if he already uploaded it on the workshop he will probably tell you the name of it or even give a link to it,if he didn't then he either didn't wanted to or forgot, which results in him still not wanting to upload it,which can't be helped,or in him uploading it for you and others to use,and MAN i spam this comment section lol,i hate the fact that Steam limits the comments to a certain amount of characters,i can't type everything in one comment XD,i need to write several comments to properly speak my mind =))))))

Basically download the mods you want from Gamemaps, and upload them on the steam workshop marked as private, that way you have your own private collection of mos, which only you see and use,and you've done nothing wrong since you didn't publicly uploaded them,i see this as simply downloading the mods from Gamemaps and saving them somewhere in a folder on my hard drive, just that is not on my hard drive but on my Steam Workshop,i think if you check my profile you will see i uploaded 2 mods, well only those 2 are visible, others are private, they still work as should and still download once i launched the for the first time after instalation,so they are kept safe, they don't waste space on my PC since they are uploaded on the Workshop, and they are not illegally uploaded cuz,i have no way of claiming credits for them, simply cuz nobody sees them except me,hope this piece of advice helps, tho i still keep a backup of my mods and my own scripts on a USB drive XD,just in case

If you're like me you want the mods uploaded on the workshop in case you need to install the game on another PC form steam(or reinstall it for some reason) when you enter the game the mods automatically download for oyu,so you can install the game on a new PC and still have the same mods and such, you jst enter the game wait few mins to download and kick zombie ass,if so then here's a trick, download the mods(from gamemaps if you want to),then install the Authoring tools for Left 4 dead 2,and upload the mods yourself,BUT and this is a big BUT =)))) make them private,if you make them completly private, you didn't plagiated/compied/illegally uploaded the mod without the authors consent because only you can see the mods

Yeah, i think HulkTank and Alex is the same person, but with different ID. Oh yeah, i forgot to tell you what weapon, silly me. If i recall correcly, many of the weapons are same, but for different slot. Like the wooden SVD, in Workshop, it's for Military Sniper slot. But in Gamemaps, it's for Ruger slot. W1200 Shotgun in workshop for Chrome slot, on Gamemaps for pump Shotgun. Etc, etc. But i believe weapon like https://www.gamemaps.com/details/21209 and few of them are only uploaded on Gamemaps. But thanks for the info :steamhappy:

I wish i could, but i can't upload mods without the consent of the original modder, plus i don't even know what gun it is XD,you didn't even said what mod it is,also if i am not wrong HulkTank uploads(and maybe works with) https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/Alex_D_Vasilkov/myworkshopfiles/?appid=550,or maybe is the same person using more accounts for a better and easier management, anyway check him out, maybe you find the gun you're looking for in his collections and mods uploaded,as far as i've checked most mods uploaded by HulkTank on gamemaps are made by Alex_D

Oh, btw, i'm pretty sure there's some weapon uploaded on Gamemaps but not in the Workshop. The Uploader name is HulkTank. Can you upload it in here please? Sorry to bother you.

Hey Thanks Buddy, i guess this time i'm the Blind one :steamhappy:
SH@dow98  [author] 20 May, 2019 @ 5:19am
Most mods are uploaded on the workshop i think,is just that most uploaders don't keep their original names,so for exemple if you see a mod in a video on YT and in the description you see the name of the mod, most uploaders who take the mod from gamemaps upload it on the workshop with a different name, something related to the video the've seen it in and not related to the original name that the author gave to his mod, that's what bothered me about the Coach policeman mod,it was there,it just didn't had the original name, and i think there are no credits whatsoever to the author either,i respect their work, the least i can do is at least keep the original name if not even a shoutout to them,is quite hard to make mods
SH@dow98  [author] 20 May, 2019 @ 5:14am
Here,no point in me uploading it,someone already properly uploaded it with the proper credits its original name aswel as a link to gamemaps,so is the perfect upload unlike the Coach police mod which had literally nothing related ot the original name or anything https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1426493099&searchtext=Beta+outfit+Bill

Thanks for the reply and sorry for not being specific myself. I mean this Bill from White Lie

SH@dow98  [author] 19 May, 2019 @ 2:33am
KEEP IN MIND the White Lie collection i've prodived a link of down bellow is not complete,as far as i've checked there are few mods that are missing,or again i really really blind =))))))))))))
SH@dow98  [author] 19 May, 2019 @ 1:29am
Here is a collection of the White Lie mods if you want to check out the other mods used in the movie https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=710531560
wish i knew about this collection when i wasted like 2 hours searching the workshop for New Orleans Police Coach while it was named White Lie Coach, sometimes it sucks to knoew the mods as they were originally and search fro them,cu you simply don't find them since they were reuploaded under a stupid name without any reference to the original name :(
SH@dow98  [author] 19 May, 2019 @ 1:23am
Tho if you really want me to i could reupload the other ones aswel, tho i will have to do some research about their original authors and mod names so they won't be known as "White Lie this" and "White Lie that",not that it is a bad thing, but the uploader of the White Lie mods could easly put for exemple "White Lie Coach/New Orleans Police Coach",or something like that, you know? most ppl search for the mods due to the movie,so putting them as White lie this and that is fine for most ppl search White lie simply cuz they seen the mods in the movie, but putting the original mods names would be great too,cuz most ppl used the mods before, know them as they were originally, and search them, and find nothing, having both criterias/names to be searched as can be helpful
SH@dow98  [author] 19 May, 2019 @ 1:20am
Now that i actually searched the "white Lie" and not randomly by the original names of the mods (which as an uploader and not the original modder, the least respect to pay to the original modder is to use the original name) i found that one Bill mod i think was used in the White Lie is "Diamond Dogs Bill",another is "Survivalist Bill (back in 'Nam)",and one is "White Lie Bill",so i suppose you searched the White Lie Bill and it is not the one you wanted,so there they are,the three names of the mods used in White Lie,honestly i am not a fan of the last one either, first two look better,i hope this helps,i would of uploaded them myself but there is no point since they are already,i uploaded this simply cuz i actually couldn't find the NO police Coach, and being under the simple name "White Lie Coach" which literally says nothing about the mod,i decided to leave it on the workshop as is simply cuz i uploaded it under it original name
November_55 18 May, 2019 @ 10:19pm
Please upload White Lie Bill. I'm pretty sure it's not in the Workshop.
SH@dow98  [author] 18 May, 2019 @ 11:57am
Well i suppose i am freaking blind lul =)))))))),to be fair i did searched everything related to police and Coach, like seriff and all other similar things, even tho i knew the original mod was literally called "New Orleans Police Coach",so since this was on the workshop as "whie lie Coach" i guess the steam search system pretty much rejected it every single time i searched XD,or i am really goddamn blind,i suppose i'd just leave it as is for now,i see 3 ppl have subscribed already and 2 have favourized, and under this name is easier to find,i couldn't care less about downloads and such so whoever want to subscribe to it they can,who don't they won't,i'll leave it on the workshop simply cuz it has its original name so it's easier to find
