Hi, great mod! I have a small issue regarding the ambient in-game music; that is, there isn't any after the initial Tuscany peace theme plays. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Are the World Wonders separate from "Buildings"? Since I have built a Great Library and received nothing.
Miles5280s 10 Nov, 2016 @ 3:28pm
Given that the mod's whole theme is based around great works, it's most certainly a BNW-only civ.
PVTABARAT@ 10 Nov, 2016 @ 12:30pm
have any compatible with only gods & kings???
Zooasaurus 30 Oct, 2016 @ 5:48am
I crashed when trying to use this mod

It seems great.
I cast a doubt alone: traits are great, but aren t they too strong.
Babylon has got only one Great Scientist, and then a sale to have others;
in this case you have 3 Great Artists if I understand well

@jjson212 The de' Medici ruled ruled the Florentine Republic, then the Duchy of Florence, then the Grand Duchy of Tuscany for centuries. Machiavelli was a political writer.
pegger204 29 Nov, 2015 @ 9:17pm
DO a MACHIAVELLI LEADERSHIP for FLORENTINE REPUBLIC. Machiavelli kicks the medici's ass but then gets beat by them
Korstrynn 27 Aug, 2015 @ 2:28am
@ruhrgebietheld The Condiotteri were captains of mercenary groups. Thus it makes sense their company gets stronger depending on gold (as in the more gold you have = the more mercs it has)

I enjoyed this one quite a bit. The Duomo is a great UB, and is probably one of my favorite UB's. The UU works well, although it did seem a little strange to have its strength tied to gold instead of culture or tourism, since this civ is focused on the latter and doesn't have anything in its uniques that syncs with the former. The UA worked great. The only thing that seemed a little off with it was the fact that when I built wonders in the capital that had great work slots, I didn't receive a free great person of the corresponding type. Overall though, wonderful civ.

i'll avoid the fleas on this one theeeeen
Marcvsiulius 17 Jan, 2015 @ 10:59am
@sukitract, I have the same problem as @skaz88 , I can't found a pantheon even when there are several still available. It just says I am able to found a pantheon, but it doesn't let me open the religious window or press the found a pantheon button. All the other mods I'm using are yours.
Mariah Curry 19 Dec, 2014 @ 1:03pm

sukritact  [author] 14 Feb, 2014 @ 2:04am
Unfortunately that would require a significant amount of work. Especially since the civ hinges on the concept of Great Works.
Jackal 13 Feb, 2014 @ 7:12am
Can you guys please do this mod for just gods and kings please i would appriciate it alot :)
Pog Sothoth 3 Feb, 2014 @ 10:25am

yena 29 Jan, 2014 @ 11:26pm
I really want to translate this mod!
skaz88 28 Jan, 2014 @ 10:02am
If you'd like to know which other mods I'm using, I'm using the CIv 5 Improvements patch, Barathor's More Luxuries and More Pantheons as well as his mausoleum and samurai mods, fortress borders, remove luxury ban, starting scout, Indonesia Improved, stone works in plains, Steve's Simple Clock, Leugi's Israel Civ and Israel Beliefs, Sikh Empire and the Historical Religions mod, in addition to this one (I like mods.............)
skaz88 26 Jan, 2014 @ 2:13pm
It hadn't been reached, the icon indicated that there was still one religion left to be founded. I am playing with a lot of other mods, so that's a possibility.
sukritact  [author] 26 Jan, 2014 @ 1:25pm
Are you sure the maximum num of religions hasn't been reached? I can confirm that Tuscany does know how to found a religion (it has a preference for Catholicism BTW).

Alternatively, what other mods are you playing with? It may be it's affecting Tuscany in some way.
skaz88 26 Jan, 2014 @ 12:24pm
I've seen at least two wandering around doing nothing. It's like the AI for Tuscany doesn't know what to do with them.
skaz88 26 Jan, 2014 @ 8:31am
No, I was playing with six players, so they could have founded a religion.
sukritact  [author] 26 Jan, 2014 @ 7:31am
@skaz88:Perhaps they're getting it too late? Only a number of religions can be founded; Great Prophets gained after that are only useful for Holy Sites and spreading religion.
skaz88 25 Jan, 2014 @ 12:32pm
Does Tuscany not pick a religion? I've played with against them a couple of times and I've seen them have lots of great prophets but they don't found a religion.
Venusaisha 15 Jan, 2014 @ 7:47pm
metaphor for it ok, but not geting it sorry
sukritact  [author] 12 Jan, 2014 @ 11:59pm

Venusaisha 9 Jan, 2014 @ 6:09pm

Venusaisha 9 Jan, 2014 @ 3:32am
yep it works and tested
sukritact  [author] 7 Dec, 2013 @ 7:55pm
@zArkham4269: Be aware that in civ, "Buildings" and "Wonders" are treated distinctly. Tuscany only receives GPs for "Buildings" with a GWoA, GWoW, or GWoM slot. The type of GP depends on the type of the slot.

Wonders do not trigger this ability, instead, you should receive a boost to your next Golden Age.

Be aware that both trigger ONLY when the building or wonder is constructed in the Capital.
zArkham4269 5 Dec, 2013 @ 10:33am
Are there mods which might conflict with this mod? I was playing a game with a few mods like the library modification mod, neolithic wonders and the new Abel Simbul (sic) wonder. Yet when I built the Abel Simbul (sic) I did not recieve an artist. Likewise when I built the Great Library I didn't get a Great Scientist nor a Great Merchant for the Masoluem (sic). Am I misinterpreting how this Civ works?
Calvin J. Candie 18 Oct, 2013 @ 8:39am
Anything of Florence Banking? Not worthy then.

Players who like to focus on Great Works may also be interested in my Art Buildings Tweaks (BNW) .
just hopeless 10 Sep, 2013 @ 4:31pm
I think this seems a little OP, not that I've actually played as them, but in BNW I find myself with excessive GPT and it seems like that might make the UU too strong.
skaz88 8 Sep, 2013 @ 7:57am
I think I found out what the problem is. I'm using DirectX 9 because I have a laptop whose graphics card can't handle 10 or 11, and I just did an experiment where I started up the game on the higher setting and everything displayed properly. Do you have a version that can be used on DirectX 9?
skaz88 8 Sep, 2013 @ 6:41am
when I select the civilization from the list, the portrait is extremely distorted as is the emblem, and I can't see the condotierre or duomo graphics at all. Instead of a protrait, I see two very blurry images.
Drakuun 8 Sep, 2013 @ 6:22am
If U need more info for something I can help U. I'm born in Florence (Firenze the original name) and know very much of my town and the historical contributions.

sukritact  [author] 7 Sep, 2013 @ 9:18pm
@Drakuu: I think Condottiere is more commonly used in English and French (although the Italian plural is still maintained) I may change it though.

@skaz88: What isn't displaying?
Drakuun 7 Sep, 2013 @ 4:21pm
A little correction.
Is'nt "Condottiere", the special unit, but "Condottiero" (if singular) or "Condottieri (plural).
skaz88 7 Sep, 2013 @ 3:53pm
Am I the only one having problems getting this to display properly? I thought it might be conflicting with another mod, but it still wouldn't display properly when I tried it without any other mods.
