Could you clarify how the CD functions for Unwavering? I don't have a lot of experience with disable_combat_skill_attribute so I'm not sure if my thinking is correct. It looks like you're using a Tag effect with a 0% chance to activate and then disabling Tag for a duration of 2. My best guess is that even though the Tag effect can't activate anyways the disable_combat_skill_attribute buff for tag prevents the skill from being used at all while tag is disabled?

If so that's a super cool way to engineer a cooldown for something that isn't already a sub-type of disable_combat_skill_attribute. I thought this buff type was disabling the sub_type itself (e.g. Can't apply Blight on skill use) not disabling the skills with an associated effect listed (e.g. Can't even use a skill with Blight).

Awesome mod, love using the class! I'm noticing when a corpseflower is summoned, the enemies sprites awkwardly overlap it before it pushes the enemies into correct order. Is there a way to patch this?

Hello, may I have permission to reference the Beastmater in my DD lore story? Granted, the Beastmaster himself is not in the story, more like where his origins are from. One of my character's mother should come from where the Beastmaster was from, not particularly related to the Beastmaster himself, but like in a clan sense. I simply refer to that as "an unknown ethnic group of that can communicate the spirits of the animals. That group, however, is from a very different continent."

I just want the consent from you if that is okay. I will let you know of any changes.

Great mod!! he's not very strong, but the versatility,bleed stacking and herbs that cure diseases are more than enough to make up for his damage. overall he's fun, has utility and works well to clear corpses.bleed targets.

Absolutely beautiful mod, the art is so gorgeous that is actually better than the original, great mechanics, awesome trinkets and really fun to play with. As someone who already played with most class mods on the workshop, I can say that this one can surely be labelled as one of the best modded classes you can find.

I would not say that is an op class at all, its damage is fairly weak and is easily surpassed by several others vanilla classes; but it shines on its support skills and self suficiency. Its stronger skill, that summons a plant on enemy field, is limited as it can only be used when at least one of the opponents already had fallen, so most of the times the battle is already under control and going to its end. Moreover, the class double strike skill, while it have its benefits, its damage is greatly halved against prot enemies, really common on champion levels, making its damage even more lower: you trade raw damage for versatility.
The plants are way, way too strong. If you could please make a balance patch and make this hero in-line with the balance set by the original game, that'd be great. He already has 2 actions per turn, if you use the ability that has "Doublestrike", and it even allows you to go back after hitting once, getting a free hit, and then immediately going into invisibility on the final row, ready to prowl.

His kit is so strong, he can basically do everything himself, without punishment. Hell, if a corpse appears, the plants are like your new party, doing all kinds of crazy things.

Perhaps removing the plants altogether might be a valid way to go about this, but for now, I feel like he's just too strong of a character, to the point of making any fight a cake walk.

actually after trying him out a bit more, the plants are not op...what theyll do is random, and usually you are already winning by the time they do anything, and him having to be stuck in the back to initiate it means itll take him a while to do anything of significance at all, the plants can even put you at disadvantage by pushing units out of the position you'd have prefered. So it is cool..but it is not OP at all and probably not super worth using nice to have though...

HOLY this is amazing, the art is SO GOOD and matches with DD beautifully T___T, the sounds everything hard to believe it is not an official release the concept of the skills! it's such a badass fun class!!!...the only problem is the guy is so hot I can't concentrate LOL..how do guys play with the omega sexed up looking girls is a mystery to me LOL.

Wonder if DD2 stole that eat corpse concept from here...god damn they should hire you guys amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing. :D.

Is he OP....I am not sure he is very interesting I mean obviously the plants could be toned down LOL...but dang I just watch the whole process in awe. SO GOOD. Ok I go now.

Its limit of this mechanic. All "on kil" effects placed on other heroes will never prooceed on last enemy kill.

Brilliant work, great class. I was using it even in champion long Weald runs and it worked almost flawlessly. Why almost? Because "Spirit of the Hunt" doesn't heal if the kill that should heal was the last in the battle. Beside this everything is fine.

Just a small gripe but I noticed one of the voice lines during a skirmish says something like "This place is a wound wich cannot be healed." as opposed to "which". Not sure if this line is exclusive to the Beastmaster but he's the first adventurer I've seen say it.

Trinket does not change Corpse flower but it add new skill to corpse pool of skills.

I got a piece of crimson court trinkets which changes the corpseflower skill into "eternal flower(I'm not sure the name is correct because I'm playing by korean ver.)" but I think this thinket doesn't work. nothing changed... could you check this out please? Thank you

This is one awesome class, very well done and fits into the game like he belongs there. I have played many modded classes and he's one of the few who fits in and seems well balanced. The only time i had an issue (which could be bc of other mods) was that his sprite changed to a white box for a battle or two. very odd and never happened again. very well done mod, ty!

I know this, and I have Hotw above Beastmaster, the problem that according to his files he can find loot only from Herbs main which consists only from one provision item "Miraculous Root", this just simply doesn't uses all the potential that Hotw offers with 30 consumable items.

Is there any chances that Beastmaster will have full support of Herbs of the Wild?
Currently he founds just one root that simply cures everything, is there any chances that he will have loottables for each location with different provisions similar to rescuer?

You get more charges with spirit of the hunt as the skill levels up, think it shoud be up to 3 at max lvl. The corpseflower actually targets low hp heroes with priorit. If you have no one at particualrily low hp it defaults to target beastmaster instead. The last idea with using bloom when its the last target alive sadly doesn't work mechanically as far as im aware though its agreat idea

He is great to play with an offensive build. But if you want to play it on support with Cycle of Life and Spirit of the Hunt you need another healer to help because you have only 1 charge with Spirit of the Hunt. A second charge could be great. Oh it seems when kill a corpseflower when having Spirit of the Hunt will not heal you. I like the mechanic of the corpseflower but if bloom can heal the the weakest ally on priority it could be better. Or why not if the corpseflower still alive at the end of combat he will trigger Bloom.

I like everything about this mod except the Corpseflower. It seems a bit overtuned at the moment because enemies never attack it, so it just harrasses and kills all of them while you can spend your turns healing and everything.

Everything else is really exceptional, from balance to visual design.

Yes the Tooltip states "when hit" counter once. Its supposed to always trigger together with the aegis.

I really love the way this character plays and their style; very nice addition to the game. It's so much fun to take him on a long dungeon and just build his bleed amount to wild levels. One question though; is Unwavering designed to not riposte if the attack misses? Other ripostes will trigger even on misses but the Beastmaster's riposte doesn't seem to. Thanks for the hard work!

I absolutely love this mod! Every one of his skills is so fun to use, and the visuals are superb. Truly something special.
