1.29 MOD UPDATE :

I have reuploaded new (1.29) versions of (most) my mods. These had to be reploaded because I couldn't update the old ones due to the crappy new UI.

I have put links to the updated versions under the old mods' description.

Sorry that this update took so long.

@Leetz:
If you manually place them in the mod folder of eu4 they should show up in the eu4 mod selector interface. Make sure folder locations are correct, the folders are not zipped and the two necessary files are both present. One is the mod content (the folder) and the other is a ".mod" file. If this doesn't work then I really don't know. Usually it's a steam problem and manual download solves it 100% of the time.
Leetz 16 Jul, 2019 @ 7:21pm
I cant make either this mod, Military expanded or Doctrine Expanded to work. They dont download and they do not apply even if i download manually and enable them.
Max 23 Jun, 2019 @ 4:08am
when i download manually it works so somethink with steam workshop. Thx for help, because mods are awesome.
SciN3RD  [author] 23 Jun, 2019 @ 3:22am
@meskie:
I'm not sure what the peoblem is, but I will try to help you. When you subscribe on steam and download them they should appear in the mod section when you start up eu4. Try running eu4 after stean download is completed, then exit the game and start it up again. They should be there. If they aren't then there is something wrong with steam download.
What you can do is manually download my mods, unzip and place them in the eu4 mod folder. I have given a manual download link in my Expanded mod collection. Manual download should guarantee that nothing goes wrong with the downloading process.
Hope this helps you.

LegionariuS97 2 Jun, 2019 @ 12:41pm
add a fking "NEVERMIND" button when you have to chose an event and you actually changed your mind ..
Expert Marxman 28 May, 2019 @ 12:32pm
was playing france and got a 0 2 0. thanks so much dude
Monarch 28 May, 2019 @ 1:36am
I would get rid of the cost and benefit when you decide between admin, diplo, and mil and then add the actual decisions in the next menu where you can take an approach to how you wanna increase that monarch power.
Monarch 28 May, 2019 @ 1:33am
Hey just an idea, but maybe add another event chain for when you choose to study a subject you can choose how to apporach it. Ex. Either go to a well known/famous university to get a small prestige buff until the ruler dies, get a tutor which increases the field by +2 instead of 1 at the cost of lots prestige, and ducats, get educated by the estates which increases their influence and loyalty at the cost of prestige, the monarch point that gets increased would also correlate to the estate. Ex. Getting educated by burghers increases diplo, church admin, nobles mil, janisarries mil, etc. You get the idea.

@Valtarien:
i was trying to implement some cancelling mechanism like you mentioned but ran into some issues with events. unfortunately, for now this will have to do. sorry about the inconvenience.
SciN3RD  [author] 27 May, 2019 @ 10:44am
@pwt4397:
no. i don't intend to change the random nature of traits. eu is all about the randomness afterall
Valtarien 27 May, 2019 @ 10:32am
You should provide a "cancel" option to back out of apportioning points if you discover you don't have enough or change your mind once you get to the choices of which ability to increase. Other than that, great mod!
pwt4397 26 May, 2019 @ 7:11pm
would this also let you pick ruler traits?

@NCR Master Race:
the educate ruler is worth it if you have a 20 year old something ruler. just get mana from estates and spend it on this every 15 years that you can. definitely not worth it when the ruler gets older.

the society's cost is like one tech. it gives 3 bonuses and 1 negative modifier. i'd say it is worth it if you are going for a particular play style.

Download has not been working. Would agree with the below Narrator, can you provide some kind of manual download?
goldenfiberwheat238 25 May, 2019 @ 6:12pm
jokes aside this stuff seems way too expensive and not worth it

Can you give me the manual download?
Mickel83 24 May, 2019 @ 11:53am
its a good mod
Mickel83 24 May, 2019 @ 11:53am
Its a good, but I like to see it not so simple, and more indepth
SciN3RD  [author] 23 May, 2019 @ 12:28pm
@blub01:
25 years is definitely on the harsh side. let's see how the 15 years goes and what people think.
SciN3RD  [author] 23 May, 2019 @ 12:27pm
UPDATE:
i made the 300 mana into 180 for education.
kitsune01 23 May, 2019 @ 12:18pm
@SciN3RD I think 25 years are fine. it's supposed to be long term after all. otherwise, you could boost every stat like 3 times if your new monarch is young enough.
SciN3RD  [author] 23 May, 2019 @ 11:51am
@civ6player:
tbh i don't like that idea. i dont want this mod to be an easy way of getting rid of shitty rulers. shitty rulers is just part of eu and must remain. so i won't be doing an exponential increase on the price. i will be reducing the 300 to maybe 180 (instead of 25 years to 15 years).

i like the heir idea. i might do something with that. thx.
SciN3RD  [author] 23 May, 2019 @ 11:49am
@blub01:
i am gonna change the 25 year thingy. probably 15 years. i will look into the unjustified thing.
SciN3RD  [author] 23 May, 2019 @ 11:34am
@EmeraldRanger (SziserTrue):
i might. but no promises.
civ6player 23 May, 2019 @ 9:08am
nice mode, how about you do incrementally increasing cost for +1 monarch points, from 0 to 1, 100, from 1 to 2 150, from 2 to 3 , 200, from 3 to 4 300, from 4 to 5 300 , and from 5 to 6, 300.

that way a player only pay 450 to go from 0 to 3, instead of 900.

and would you ad an hair school for hairs under 15 years old then they graduate when reaching 15 years old, spend money per turn to increase an hair adm. dip, mil points (more money spend more chance for increase).

the hair school wont clash with this mode, because some time your get an old hair, and hairs has a chance to earn +1 points in school.
OH NO! 23 May, 2019 @ 6:15am
Very innovative and much more realistic a nice job.
kitsune01 23 May, 2019 @ 5:51am
fyi: considering that 300 months are 25 years, and looking at the life expectancy tables on the wiki, improving a skill is worth it until your ruler is about 35 years old.
also, you get negative unjustified demands and core creation cost modifiers, and I think you typed "province war score" instead of "province war score cost" somewhere.
Sziser 23 May, 2019 @ 2:01am
Can you make ET version of your mods please ?
SciN3RD  [author] 22 May, 2019 @ 5:15pm
UPDATE:
I added more options to societies. now each of the sub categories have two choices themselves.
e.g. scientist can be either focused on physics or medicine. the same applies to all other sub-categories. each have unique bonuses. they are much clearer in-game as compared to here (Steam description is a mess).

P.s. sorry if this messes with your saved games.
SciN3RD  [author] 22 May, 2019 @ 4:40pm
@Achtung!:
thx. unfortunately i find adding localisation the most boring part of modding. i'm sorry if the text is a bit retarded at times :'D i'll see if i can improve them
Dignity 22 May, 2019 @ 4:36pm
Great mod but needs more flavorful text.
SciN3RD  [author] 22 May, 2019 @ 3:08pm
@HALTBLAZER22:
thanks. glad you like it.
HALTBLAZER22 22 May, 2019 @ 3:01pm
Very interesting looking mod, I'll have to try it out in proper sooner or later. Great job!
SciN3RD  [author] 22 May, 2019 @ 2:40pm
@Comrade Flan:
hadn't thought of that. sounds interesting. but i do have one issue with it. ruler personalities are random and eu4 has enough random things imo. i kindda wanted to create something that the player actively chooses/changes to suit his/her play style. this goes against the random nature of ruler personalities.
i can always add more options to the societies. in fact, i already have some in mind.
Natasha 22 May, 2019 @ 2:12pm
We live in a society
Comrade Flan 22 May, 2019 @ 2:01pm
Do you have any plans to expand it to the ruler personalities?
SciN3RD  [author] 22 May, 2019 @ 10:50am
@arranrp:
it definitely is. it starts paying off after 25 years. i obviously didn't want to make it too op so that one can easily get 6 6 6 rulers. it's just an option to invest if you have a young ruler and happen to have too much mana at a certain time.
i might reduce it if a lot of people think it's too much.
arranrp 22 May, 2019 @ 9:57am
"--> spend 300 adm points to gain +1 adm on your ruler"

Feels a little steep
SciN3RD  [author] 22 May, 2019 @ 5:36am
@Wraygun:
no, as it changes in-game mechanics.
