As of this posting, there is a random bulbasaur asset that does not want to load properly. Not a big deal, it's easily ignored once the window is closed. Likely an easter egg?

Also, the following roles are missing, and hopefully will be included in a future update?

Townsfolk: Alshaahier
Outsiders: Hatter, Oger, Zealot
Minions: Boffin, Psychopath, Wizard, Xaan
Demons: Kazali, Lord of Typhoon, Yaggababble

Travelers: Gnome

Such an awesome mod! Is there a possibility to remove the background? It is really beautiful, but for people with Bullshit internet, this game becomse literally unplayable

I believe I followed your instructions correctly. I was unsure what to do when "switching the demon and lunatic token", so after clicking "Deal" but before starting the night phase, I unlocked both tokens on the table, and drug each token onto the other's position, which updated their color. (I assume this isn't correct because it would change the role displayed to each player).

I still see
"Black -> Brown: Demons: White, Minions: Brown"
when I would expect to see
"Black -> Brown: Demons: Red, Minions: Brown"

Can you clarify what "swapping the tokens as you would do in the Grimoire in real life" means? I suspect that's the culprit.

I tested the mod in single player, and the night prompt works properly for me.

Reproduce this setup:
White: Shabaloth token
Brown: Godfather token
Red: Lunatic token
Orange: Grandmother token
Yellow: Sailor token

After roles are dealt, switch the Demon and Lunatic token, as you would do in the Grimoire in real life. So now White should have the Lunatic token and Red should have the Shabaloth token.

Lunatic Info A, B are sent to White. These prompts are filled in manually.
Lunatic Info C should be sent to Red, the actual demon.
Evil Info should read Demons: Red, Minions: Brown

Thanks for the clarification, you are correct that the experimental characters are available in the game. It looks like I was having some trouble adding the Al-hadikhia because I was trying to tab autocomplete it with the hypen, works fine if I autocomplete from "hadi".

To clarify on the lunatic issue, we believe the minion is currently seeing the player with the demon token (the lunatic) as the demon.

Example:
Red - Po (actually lunatic)
Blue - Lunatic (actually Po)
Green - Assassin

During the "Evil Info" step, Green will see "Demon: Red" when we believe that they should instead see "Demon: Blue", since Blue is their real demon. From our testing, the opposite is happening.

When characters tokens are dealt to players, the real demon gets the Lunatic token to emulate how the Lunatic is ran in real life games. So if a player sees that they're the Lunatic, they should know that they're the actual demon. For more information on how to run the Lunatic, check the page on 'How to Setup a Lunatic Game' in the Storyteller Manual inside the mod.

All of the experimental characters are in the mod. You can setup a custom game by clicking on Custom Game on the character tool. See the Storyteller Manual for more details.

I for some reason have a problem specifically with this table not loading, do you have any idea why that might be? It likes to get stuck at 5% when loading and I have never been able to get it to work. I have installed and reinstalled this workshop content multiple times to see if that would fix it and it still gets stuck on a white screen at 5%

This mod is stupendous! Thank you for it! Are you planning to upload the finalized almanacs+tokens to be able to run the polished, final game? For example Vortox's ability changed from Good players in general to only Townsfolk players etc.

I've downloaded the lastest version and get white objects.
Logs file says it can't download a lot of objects from cloud-3.steamusercontent (I've checked some links - "404 not found").
Can you fix this?

Once the script finishes loading for everyone, the background will move and fix the syncing issues. You just have to wait a couple of seconds.

Thanks for continuing to update this with new features.

We're noticing an issue where client players see the background models shifted such that one of the buildings is partially covering the table. I think this may have been introduced with Tabletop Sim's recent layout update. Deleting the background objects works as a workaround for now.

When I attempt to run a game with more than 10 players (using host_max_players 21), players are unable to sit in the seats beyond seat 10 (magenta, lavender, etc). Any tips on what I might be doing wrong? The color selector isn't available for those seats isn't available.

@Winterish: all you have to do is remove an alive token and replace it with a grey traveler alive token from the green bag.

For example, if you have 5 players and you have to add a 6th player as a traveler:
1. Add the traveler's name to the Town Square tool.
2. Click Start
3. Remove the alive token off of the base and replace it with a grey traveler alive token.

The town square should now correctly reflect the number of players and travelers in the game.

Hi Sionar, Could you help me understand how to add a Traveler to the grimoire please, such that the town square correctly summarises the total number of players, non-traveler players etc.
I had some success in adding a player using the "Town Square Generator" and "Add character" tools, but it wasn't quite right - would appreciate a step by step (ps: checked your manual, I'm still stuck). Many thanks,

What is the best way for a role like the poisoner to respond with who they are poisoning? Do they whisper to the moderator with something like ".w Black Poisoning Yellow"?

Do you have any plans to add support for roles revealed by the developers in custom lists? A while ago they revealed General (townsfolk) and just a few days ago they posted an update with a few new roles https://bloodontheclocktower.tumblr.com/post/614735509565128704/behind-the-curtain-6-the-teensyville-fair

It'd be super awesome if these were supported, even if you had to use a custom token or something.

@benipins what notbowen said, but if you'd rather not use the show grimoire button at all, here are two other options,

A. send the spy a screenshot of the grimoire or
B. if you want them to only be able to see it for a limited time, and not to be able to check back on something like a screenshot, use steam to invite the spy to watch via the friends list. this will open up a stream of your screen for the spy without any other players knowing it's happening. You can let them look at the grimoire via your steam broadcast for however long you want, then just close the broadcast.

Hello Sionar! Great mod! I got an issue with the custom game. Load all the role and the custom image (for the sheet), but when I start the game, the sheet reset, remove my custom png and put a black backgroup sheet with all the role. Can you check this (you can reproduce it when you click on Start after the role selection. Let me know...

@Benipins the chat only logs people blindfolding and unblindfolding for people that are unblindfolded. If you have everyone blindfold, have the spy unblindfold, show him the Grimoire, reblindfold, and then EVERYONE unblindfold, it should be fine.

Hi Sionar,
I'm trying to figure out how to run the Spy and show the Grimoire without divulging all of that information to the group. The Blindfolds are excellent but the chat keeps track of who has a blindfold on and who doesn't. Is there anyway to silently remove the blindfold from the Spy to give them the Grimoire information, or am I simply misunderstanding how to use the blindfolds properly?

@Benipins click on your name on the top right of your screen, and click on change color. Then click on the black circle that pops up on your screen in order to change to the black seat, which is the storyteller's seat.
