gosh I really love these mods you made
fred_happyface  [author] 6 Mar, 2021 @ 7:31am
It was a while ago when I created this but the original wasn't compatible with the latest version of AHIT
M1TZUKI 24 Jul, 2020 @ 6:03pm
so what all is difference between this and the original?
Player CPU 25 Aug, 2019 @ 6:34pm
thanks for your work

Yeah, I have no idea how to implement story books yet but I'll take a look on modding help

Is THIS WHY THE ORIGINAL CRASHES ALL THE TIME?!?!?

Credit to Asra https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/profiles/76561198132506827 for the images. Thank you! :)

Very nicely done, the Ice Hat jumps back really help with the flow.
...I take it there's supposed to be a story book though? :p

Yeah I've found this mod to be really good fun. So pleased that Traveling Merchant has allowed the continuation of it
Kaspii 31 May, 2019 @ 6:01am
Really enjoyed this Time Rift, too bad it's not possible to read what's on the book. :p

You need to recook your mod mate
alextsonchev 26 May, 2019 @ 11:10am
I loved the original
fred_happyface  [author] 25 May, 2019 @ 1:03pm
I've not. This is something that I will look at tomorrow if that's ok. As with many of these mods which I've hoped to recompile for the community, it looks fantastic and is something that I would very much like to try (as I'm sure many other members are)
fred_happyface  [author] 25 May, 2019 @ 1:01pm
Oh and many thanks for adding in the quote providing permission. I'm sure you're aware that there was a little rudeness on this very thread regarding some of the controversy caused by all of this
fred_happyface  [author] 25 May, 2019 @ 12:59pm
I took a look at that earlier and couldn't find any source files 😞
Groundwater 25 May, 2019 @ 12:58pm
Great job with the level! Do you think Recipe Race is salvable ?

I haven't done AHIT modding for a long time. Anyone is welcome to update my mods if they want to."
fred_happyface  [author] 24 May, 2019 @ 3:13am
Some don't have source files. There's nothing that can be done about that. Apart from that I can't think of anything
Habanero 24 May, 2019 @ 3:10am
I'll try recooking Cat Scratch Tower then and seeing how it turns out. Anything that's prone to breaking when recooking old levels?
fred_happyface  [author] 24 May, 2019 @ 2:27am
Pretty much. The hardest think is working out which directory its landed in. The rest is a waiting game. The only thing I'd say if you are publishing them is give credit where it is due
Habanero 24 May, 2019 @ 2:21am
So just subscribe to a workshop level, open it in the editor, and recook? That's a relief.
fred_happyface  [author] 24 May, 2019 @ 2:14am
Thanks. I don't wish to tread on an authors toes so if they are in the process of updating or refining (eg Gold Leaf) then I'm going to leave it be for the time being as at the end of the day, these mods belong to them. The vast majority of current bugs can be solved by recooking
Habanero 24 May, 2019 @ 1:55am
Oh, so you can recook other people's levels? In that case, here's a short list as I go through levels and test them. Some of these might be getting updates from the original modder. Cat Scratch Tower has a lot of demand.

Gold Leaf (timepieces aren't showing up, common glitch with recent update)
Breathing Sea (same)
Chapter 4?: Desert Dazzle (comments suggests it's broken)
Color Block Fortress
A Mustache In The Tropics
Noki Bay Shell (crashes)
Delfino Airstrip (busted, modder might be fixing it)
Dead Bob Studio (level pipes don't load)
Dead Bob Studio: Hell (crashes on startup)
A Dream Down Under (busted)
Cat Scratch Tower (busted)
fred_happyface  [author] 24 May, 2019 @ 1:54am
It really is. I've done a guide to help address this for developers that still want to maintain their mods. In the meantime, I'm going through some of the more popular abandoned mods and recooking them. Do let me know if there is anything in particular you want reviving
Habanero 24 May, 2019 @ 1:51am
Thanks for this. Shame that every update breaks the workshop levels. More and more levels are becoming unplayable because people don't keep backups.
Talon 23 May, 2019 @ 6:38pm
Another to my list of favorite levels.
