I hate to be this guy, but I'd love to see this updated. As I only really play DRO/DCO, this is essential.

Could you please update the mod to the latest release of GM? It no longer works because of a deleted files, like gm_vehicles_planes_do28d2, or something like this. It breaks the save games as well as prevents the server from working. Your mod is very awesome, can't play GM without it!

Hey man, your mod is nothing short of amazing. I am wondering if you would allow me to use your mod as a template and basis of further development? Although your factions are nicely sorted, they don't have the vanilla groupings and so are incompatible with the mod ALiVE. I would like to use your template and the factions you made but essentially sort them differently so that they work with ALiVE. I would of course credit you.

my goal is to recreate modern days german army for both camos, and match all the standards with RHS and vanilla NATO units and groups for Alive and so on. To make it most useful for anybody.

I am working on complete German armed forces faction and have some GM vehicles included. I am just bit wondering if I should include these vehicles as well. Probably yes.

I hope you add sepparate 90's bundeswehr (summer, winter and desert variants) and Denmark (summer and winter) units in the next update. Thanks for the mod mate, it's standard for me when I use GM.

yeah, you know what, I'll let you make your own autumn/90s factions if you want. Feel free to extract the config from this mod and use that as a template. As much as I'd like to have a separate, complete faction for every era/season, it's a ton of tedious work.

this, alongside Red's Redd'n'Tank Vehicles, and BWMod, if necessary. I heard damage values for some GM weapons are really really high, so maybe that should be edited too.

Fixed most of the issues y'all mentioned, idk if any of you saw my "I can't update this" comment, but I deleted it because it was wrong. That was surprisingly easy.

About autumn units mixed with summer ones: I figured that is fine, since I don't want to make entire autumn factions, and the autumn units would look kind of out of place on winter maps mixed in with winter units.

I still need to get helicopters added to the new/winter factions, and sort out the spec ops units.

I might also sort out the '90s units at some point, make them into their own factions. Probably not tho. There's not many of them, and there's a lot of shit missing that I can't make (flecktarn uniforms/vests, NVA UTV gear, etc).

#1. East and West Germany and Denmark flags are missing in faction selection menu on Dynamic recon ops and Dynamic combat ops and they do return an error.
This bug occurs for civilians too while not occurs for Poland faction which works as intended.

#2. Choppers from GM are missing on insertion in DRO and modern NATO ones are used instead.

#3. Autumn units are mixed to Summer ones.

#4. If you choose to play Denmark '90s units weapon's optics are bugged.


All of this works just fine in DRO or DCO without using GlobMob Tweaks.
Point #3 is solely related to GlobMob Tweaks of course because of its nature and would be a very nice addition especially for Chernarus.

The GM 1.1 RC beta is currently available and should roll out to the main branch in a week or so. I haven't tried it yet to see if this mod's side fixes for winter and summer still work but I hope to see an update soon for the new GM Polish faction. While I'm at it, I would like to ask if it's possible/feasible to somehow address the number of AA vehicles (Gepard and Shilka) that are spawned in HWS scenarios? They spawn in huge numbers no matter what armor setting are chosen on the setup screen. Because off that I rarely use GM factions anymore in HWS but I would love to start using GM content again if the AA issue could be sorted. Either way, thanks for what you've done so far and I certainly hope that you'll continue to "improve" GM for those of us that enjoy HWS.

I keep getting a message that the grcb_tweaks_gm.pbo is not signed by the server when trying to join a dedicated that has the bikey installed. Does the bikey need to be updated?

@Fox Mulder glad you figured it out. Yea, that was the point of this mod, really. I was playing HWS on Weferlingen and got tired of seeing winter/UN/desert vehicles all mixed together.

Please disregard. I took a look at the DDR UN faction in the editor with the mod enabled and the bright blue UN helmet covers from this mod are not what I'm seeing. What I'm seeing is a much duller and faded looking blue painted helmet. I now believe that it's a texture from another mod that was showing up. I've since removed a few mods including one thhat I believe to be the culprit so it may not show up again. Sorry about the misunderstanding and thanks for the mod. This seems to be the only one that properly sorts Winter and Summer units when using GM and HWS.

Any chance to get a version of this without the UN helmets? I'm playing HWS and some of the DDR troops are wearing UN helmets.

Actually come to think of it, it's probably that DRO/DCO don't recognize GM's new bandages as first aid kits. Just replace all of their Gauze/Emergency/Burn bandages with IFAKs and it should work.

You probably are the only one. In any case, it's more likely a problem on DRO's end. DRO is script intensive and I don't know any scripting, so I cannot fix it.

My GM units don't make use of the revive system from DRO or DCO. I've only tested this with the East German units so this problem might also occur with the West German ones. Am I the only one who encounters this problem? If not could you please fix this if possible?

That's just because the civilian factions carry the same displayName as the military factions. I do not plan on adding more civilians. Honestly the mod's current state is probably as far as I'll develop it, except for bugfixes as updates come out and such.

Ok, it worked out for me once I switched to CUP and CFP and moving on from RHS. I saw you designated the civilians from GM as 'summer', do you plan on adding winter civilians or why is that?

I didn't even know that GM had issues with the DRO framework until I saw this pop up on the Workshop; then I was not at all surprised to see it was you who'd done the work to fix it. Excellent effort, bravo zulu.
