Turns out it doesnt use the magic powder, thats on decay. My bad! Would be great if you had to use resources for it or it had durability though so it wasnt infinite :)

This mod is wicked! We enjoy it. Only trouble is, they don't use up the materials that you need to use the spell with so you can use it infinitely and sometimes it uses the magic powder from Acheronian sorcery too. The T animation is also a little random.

Would love to see this mod expanded upon and continued, though if the mod author doesn't intend to maybe the contents could be made open source on the modding discord? There are a lot of people who want sorcery for this game, but its hard to find a good medium between weapons and magic. And most magic I've seen on the workshop isn't very hands-on or practical, requires taking up a weapon slot or has some impractical impediment to prevent instant casting. There are some mods that add magic as animations/attacks through weapons, like Exiled Lands Improved, but it feels more like enchanted weaponry than magic by its own volition.

hi, im looking for this, but i need this mod only for Admin, when admin, so the admin can use the magic ... its possible for u to script this for me?

You could probably use the staff you get from the dungeon in oasis southwest that you fix in the tower of bats as the basis for a model for a mage's staff. Just a thought.

need to make the magic not look like an invisible weapon and make it look like a ranged attack. Cant you do that with an arrow? anyway looks bad except the fire one

I currently don’t have plans to add clothing or armors to the game, I believe the game has enough options are far as mix matching styles and whatnot to create a unique witch/wizard look and it would take quite a bit of time and I’m just starting with modeling. I will however look into different tiers of magick, this being the base tier. The other tiers using different weapons as well

Could you also make it an option for sorcerers staffs and such, I prefer those, also proper sorcerers robes witches robes for females.

This looks pretty cool! I am going to subscribe and see how it works in game. One question: would this be compatible with the mod called 'Class Mod'? (Class Mod changes stats depending upon the class of the player and gives some special abilities.)

For the invisibility, have you tried with the invisible material in the devkit? The mesh is still there but you can't see it.

Congrats man, been happy for you since your first few posts recently on the modder discord! I dig chakrams, magic or not, so this will be fun. Also for the invis weapon thing, have you considered just an invis mesh, or a mesh that's just like -10000 units below player?

I'm going to try that with claws + dagger animations to see what I can do before I get to barehanded/martial arts action anims and weapons.

Will try this soon enough and let you know how it goes though! Looking forward to it.

The chakrams are necessary, however they were initially just gonna be orbs or invisible, but the way the game is designed, it wouldnt let me do such a thing. I tried making the weapon invisible (no mesh) and none of the attacks worked.

So maybe in the next update, ill make it a different tier of weapon, and they can be a small orb instead.

This looks really cool, especially for your first mod! Are the Chakrams necessary for using the magic attacks though? I was hoping that the "weapon" you equip would be invisible and just use your fists to cast.

This definitely was a labor of love and sweat and tears. Unreal engine 4, especially the Conan Exiles devkit is painfully slow to load or do anything really.
