This mod should completely taken down from the workshop, since it will fk up your while server because after installation, you aren't able to get the server on DZSALauncher again. Not even a full deinstallation of all mods/configs is helping.

Is the barbed wire under the same classname? Currently, it disappears after checking back 12 hours. Do I need to add your custom classname into types file?

Hi.. Thanks for the mod. Can you remove the barbed wire from the inside when dismantling a wall using pliers? We were replacing a wall and cant seem to do it.

Could be the fact there is issue with the vanilla wire buddy, its fixed in 1.08, so tbh i think this will correct itself without me needing to do anything

barbedwirefence doesn't cause bleeding or damage
and still drop 2 wooden sticks when placing the kit

yes, the kit not only does not inflict bleed but it does not do damage anymore at all. i stood in the wire for about 5 minutes just to make sure.

Hi, yes the kit should inflict bleeds now, are you having issues with it ?
Dismantle time is currently tied to the action, but i hope to make it configurable soon.
As far as the Barbed Wire disapearing, have you added the necessary entry in types xml ?
Its not been disapearing on my public server.

hey wii love the update to the mod just a few questions tho. 1 is the barb wire kit not supposed to inflict bleeds ? 2 is there way to up the dismantle time? i see nothing in files. an 3 is there any specific reason why it might be disappearing after a server reset? thanks in advance :)

The unmount feature was a temporary fix for the old damage bug.
It will be removed soon. The bleeding when touching the wire is the new damage effect that dayz introduced for barbed wire, to fix the old bug.
Im hoping to start updating this mod very soon, and adding new features

great mod mate, but after opening a gate no matter if the wire is on top, bottom, or both.. they will unmount after opening a gate. is this part of the mod? or is this just a bug in the mod? or is something wrong in my file?

Hello you urgently need to update your mod.
It currently causes infinite bleeding when you get hit from the barbed wire. PLEASE FIX !!!!

Its working fine on 1.06 as far as i know, still have it on my server.
As far as fixing the mount.demount issue, i will look into that asap.
I would love to develop this mod more, as soon as they fix barbed wire :/

@WiiDEVil - we have noticed with your mod that unless you put barbed wire in BOTH top and bottom, your mod does NOT unmount the barbed wire when opening a gate. Putting in ONLY top or ONLY bottom, still results in default vanilla behaviour that kills players crossing the threshold.

Is there a way for you to ensure that ALL of these situations correctly unmount the barbed wire to the floor when you open the gate:
- barbed wire installed top only
- barbed wire installed bottom only
- barbed wire installed top & bottom (working now)

Love your mod and presently just encouraging players to always use barbed wire top and bottom!

Yeah the invisible wire of death is a dayz issue, same with the stick barbed wire.
They did implement some fixes for it in 1.05.....but there still appears to be lots of issues with it :/
Anything i can figure out little fixes for to help i will add to the mod, but ran out of ideas at the moment.

Great mod, really helps keep people away until you start hearing that "ugh" "ugh" "ugh" and then see darkness when you aren't near the barbed wire! ha ha, makes things interesting. Keep up the great work WiiDEVil!!
