@Justinfreeman Mod Everything Reloaded allows you to add attachments but has a bug where the option is still greyed out if the primary weapon can't normally have attachments to access the slots regardless switch to another soldier that uses a vanilla primary weapon then while still there switch to the soldier you want to have the modded primary pistol

So, I stumbled across this mod, and love this for an Infiltrator build... but I can't add upgrades/mods to it, as a primary (with True Primary Secondary mod). The upgrade option is grayed out. Please point me in the right direction?

Hi When this is set to auto pistol its magnetic and Plasma tiers cannot take standard shots due to lacking the Template.Abilities.AddItem('PistolStandardShot'); you set it up for the conventional tier pistol but not the magnetic or plasma tier versions.

@Novash You need to tweak some settings in order to import XCOM's fbx in Blender. I can't help you since I use 3DS Max, but if you want, you can find more information in the XCOM modding discord.

I wanted to try and map the models, but for some reason I can't import the .FBX files into Blender when I export them with the WOTC version of the tool, really odd :steamfacepalm:

@Novash The MG model lacks textures and the BM model doesn't have neither textures nor mapping. Unfortunately there are no other leftovers of this weapons.

Btw, as far as I can tell this was not meant to be a part of the "Autopistol" tiers, but rather an alternate class of "Pistol" type weapons, maybe for a different ability path, and the resources actually includes models for all 3 tiers, but the MG and BM tier models don't seem to have the correct textures attached, or maybe the mapping is just messed up, either way they look really cool as well :steamsunny:

Pistol_CV_DETECTIONRADIUSMODIFER doesn't work. it's some conflict??? other mods with same atribute doesn't work too, just the original SMG LW2

I absolutely love this model, unfortunately the autopistol animations are a bit off (I assume because of the grip angle) and involve the soldier aiming a few degrees above the target.

The issue is only cosmetic, and I understand that fixing it would require remaking a ton of animations, but damn does it peeve me off. Nevertheless, the mesh and textures are great!

What slot did you have the pistol in? I tried troubleshooting that same thing in the past, but I don't use the dev tools, haven't done any modding, so I was just using trial and error shit to see if I could replicate it. The only conclusion I came to is that it seems to happen more if you're using this pistol in a utility slot rather than the secondary slot.

I'm having an issue with sniper rifles. Basically whenever it's time to shoot this autopistol, sniper holds both this and his rifle in one hand.

Got it. I also ran into another issue where FanFire doesn't animate properly (only 1 fired shot is visually shown). Was a fix included in this mod or is that for another mod to deal with?

@Professor Spank It you can simply use WSR and swap "High_Cal_Pistol_CV_Primary" with "High_Cal_Pistol_CV" (and subsequent tiers) to have them displayed.

How can we improve the compatibility with the Akimbo Class mod so that the weapon attachments show up on both High Caliber Pistols instead of only the off-hand (secondary)?

Thanks for your response! I did some testing and discovered the issue: the attachments only seem to appear on the pistol when I equip them as a secondary weapon. So on an Akimbo, for example, the attachments appear on one gun but not the other.

@Wolfmouse you can't equip attachments or you equip them and they don't show up? Have you tried running without mods to see if it works? Are you using Weapon Skin Replacer? If yes, check the lines and verify you wrote all correctly.
Spotting conflicts is difficult, but you can go at it in a variety of ways: you can try and see what mods could be conflicting by logic (what does this mod do? Would it interfere? Etc. Etc.); or you can take the longer road: deactivate half the mods you use, see if it persists. If it does, reactivate them and deactivate the other half, see if it helps. If it helps, deactivate only half of those mods and so on until you find the culprit.

Thank you for this! I love the look of the gun but I can't get the attachments to show up. I'm sure it's an incompatibility, but I have no idea how to spot conflicts in XCOM 2 modding... Anybody have any ideas? I'm using the community mod launcher...

The pistol disappeared from my inventory and I can't seem to get it back with Commands. But its still there for PS and Utility.

Amazing mod, didnt knew i wanted so bad untill I saw it, only nitpick is indeed the scale. it could do with sizing a little bit down,then i´d call it perfect.

I've been using this on my current run and I LOVE THIS GUN. It adds some flavor the old vanilla revolvers are lacking. It is a great option.
