It was made in the alpha/beta stage of Arma 3. It would probably be simpler to just create a new one from scratch but I'm pretty much done with Arma now.

I just played it the other day with a buddy. It isn't that broken. We eliminated all the hostiles at both bases and the tasks completed as normal. We flew back and landed once we're done and the mission completed. The only thing broken I saw was the refuel/rearm script which I guess you can replace with regular refuel/repair/rearms trucks. I'm not sure why we couldn't run either, only walk. Anyways, it was a nice mission :) .

All in all, to tell you the truth. It actually works.

I'm pretty sure it's beyond broken now, Phantom Six. It was made back in the alpha/beta so I don't expect much to work any more!

Hey Melbo. Nice fun and quick mission, but I recommend adding this command to the no enemy presence trigger markers

east countSide thislist <= X

where X is a number. This will avoid having players to kill every single infantry in the area (that one lone soldiers since that's tedious). So if you put 3-5 and there's about 3-5 infantry left, you can pretty much call that area cleared. You'll still have to fire a couple of infantry, but you don't have to go hunt for that one last guy.

Another thing was I couldn't get the rearm script working for whatever reason so I spawned a rearm truck with a debugger to manually rearm myself. Nevertheless, it is a nice mission for newer chopper pilots :)

Overall great and fun mission!
However, please don't make us comb through the AO to find one infantry. It is tedious work not fit for helicopter pilots! Instead finish the mission when all the vehicles are destroyed.

Awesome mission, just played it with a friend. Everything worked well and the mission was fun. I forgot how beautiful nightime is in this game. :Khappy:

This was made for the beta and I've not updated it since then and I doubt I will update it for the latest version.

As for things like spelling errors, it really helps if you say what they are where they occur!

Thanks for the feedback though! I might make a similar mission again but in my opinion, if you want some helicopter action then CLOSE AIR SUPPORT (Day 2) is where to go!

Quite a good mission, could do with a bit more polish:
- Agimugh(?) tasks did not complete dispite being told it has by radio
- No apparent AA defence at either enemy or friendly airbase (I got killed by enemy chopper while rearming at home base too)
- Enemy AI at airfield don't react to being attacked. Why not send in the gunship that is out on patrol?
- Rearming script displays vehicle and weapon class names
- Would be great if the mission provided for possibility of player making a safe crash landing (eg, possible evac/rescue component)
- Spelling errors

Fun mission, but when an enemy chopper flies over the base, no-one tries to shoot it down. We had to run back to resupply the guns and while doing so the chopper killed us while our allies stood around not giving a crap at us slowly walking and panicing!

Right in the start of the mission, every time I get into the helo it spools up for a good 5 seconds then the main rotor ends up going red and it shuts off.

Nice! Just finished my first run through with a buddy. It was super fun. We had no problems with the factory squad and they seemed to clean up after us pretty quick. Also as long as I landed right on the helipad marking the rearm worked perfect. Overall very smooth and very entertaining mission.

Hey, thanks for commenting back. For #3 I'm pretty sure we landed exactly where it was on the map, the marker for it that is, so I'm not sure. For the AI near the factory it just seemed like they quickly went from searching to standing there and not even responding to sounds of combat, so it might be they aren't on search & destroy or they the AI themselves are breaking.

#1 Looks like the time param is maybe only being called on 1 client. I will see about getting it called server side.

#2 Enemy are not just inside the factory area, they are lurking about in that entire AO. I will see if I can get the friendly call signs to do a bit more.

#3 Can't say I've had the problem of it not rearming. Sure you landed on the correct pad?

Interesting mission, but a lot of problems.

When we started the mission, as 2 player coop, it was daytime for one of us despite it being 4 AM.

The friendly AI task force teams by the factory are not aggressive enough and do very little search & destroying, more just going to areas and standing there. We also couldn't clear that objective even though we leveled half the buildings and couldn't see any enemies there.

There aren't any additional helicopters or places to rearm? I see you have a rearm script and a helicopter service point, but we landed on it and nothing happened.

Yeah the factory AO is a good hiding place for the AI. I will look into making it a bit more user friendly. Maybe add a marker the map over enemy AI after a set period of time.

Quite a fun mission. Played it with a friend. The infantry AO has trouble clearing. It cleared for us after we've left

Really great mission. The AO with the infantry didn't clear though, we combed through the area quite a lot and didn't spot anything. Shame really..

Mi da un errore all'avvio della missione dice che manca un contenuto scaricabile "map_atlis". Ho riavviato più volte scarica qualcosa ma non si avvia

I just finished an SP playthrough and reallly like this mission; probably my favourite attack heli mission so far. The atmosphere was well implemented and the balance felt just about right. Task Odiferous was not marked as complete on my debrief screen and the RTB task did not show up in the task list (but i did get the task created status notification). Otherwise, all worked well. Thumbs up from me!

I have to agree with Karel, however the only bad things about saves right now is that when the player then loads a save no init scripts will run. It's ashame that there is no event handler that picks up when a player loads a save.
