I think this cosmetic deserves to be in tf2 not only because its RWBY reference, but also as a standalone cosmetic. Its really well-made.

Good model and excellent idea, however i feel that, unless this item is an extremely bright color,it would be really hard to spot. Of course, i could be wrong but i think this would be a slot filler rather than anything else. Of course this isn't the worse offender, that would go to the Couvre Corner, but i think the cosmetic needs more to it to be included. Now if this were some kind of weapon that shoots a projectile or something, this size works, but its just too small in my opinion. Again, it may just be these pictures making it look smaller, but thanks for reading my opinion.
