I mean that's the point of controlling the high ground right, to gain an advantage over the enemy, not handicap yourself?
So it could be this, that the MG is sitting to low, while the Tanks MG is sitting higher above the gound. Please see https://www.coh2.org/guides/16150/worldbuilder-totw-10-blockers . But I will test and lock in to the Island at level 2 to see if it is indeed a error..
However, some of the other buildings have blank ends that look down a road, for example the little row of buildings just down from the factory has a blank wall on the far end. People probably don't design their houses to be battlegrounds, but it seems like people would want windows to see streets, bridges, waterways, etc. It makes good positions for players, but makes sense for civilians too.
It would be nice if more of the buildings had windows overlooking the roads and looking down them lengthwise.
