This is awesome, To build of the idea you should make some fleshy hive growth props and have them spawn around and shoot like spore things around so it seems like the world is becoming more hazardous and stuff. Kinda like the xen from lets say half life alyx

Damn this is so good, same with your other mods so keep up the good work.

I've seen some older horror games use some kind of pulsing texture effect for making these kinds of things look more "alive" (Dead Space and RE4 come to mind). Not sure how that would be implemented in Source aside from using animated textures, but if I were going for that sort of thing, those games are what I'd use for reference.
