Look forward to it one day.
Started a game up. pop up window and got Mars when asked.
But would love for it to be updated, maybe even added as an origin as that sounds pretty cool.
@Nite so far yes, but I'll be redoing how all that works and add random events that will apply to either decision. I've been kicking around the idea of making the "survivng mars" decision into a custom pre-FTL stage, that might be cool.

you could have an alternate hardcore option where we have to evacuate Earth to avoid some impending doom.
The mod 'Supernovae - Cosmic Fury' has the whole star system go kablooey. In the worstcase mode you have 10 years until your starting system's star blows up!
I have one immediate thought: how would mysteries look in a Stellaris environment? I'm imagining a few of them would work well in Stellaris (like St Elmo's Fire, Beyond Earth, and Marsgate).
