@luxermo Ok thanks for that, not something I was aware of. I will update them when I get some free time and make a mental note for future. Cheers :-)

Hi, I just figured out why this map never showed up for me: the "Maps" folder is upper case. It needs to be lower case for it to work on non-Windows computers. Don't know if you want to push an update for something so small, but at least keep it in mind for any future maps. Thanks for the map, I'll finally go and try it now!

Thanks, have fun. I'm working on some more but they take quite a lot of time to make
Slavepetrich 15 Jun, 2019 @ 12:49pm
Good! I just tried the map , it's good. I also like small maps.
OffTheRailsGaming  [author] 15 Jun, 2019 @ 12:28pm
Hi @Slavepetrich. Yes, if you add a bus route in between the two with some stops along the way then the towns will expand towards one another. It also depends on the locations of train stations and goods delivery locations
Slavepetrich 15 Jun, 2019 @ 12:03pm
can two cities in middle of map melt in huge one at late game?
OffTheRailsGaming  [author] 12 Jun, 2019 @ 6:08am
@BlueChris69 Yes it works with save games, I've not had any problems with it before. It does overload the stations a bit though and it makes the towns grow rapidly if you put a lot of big trains on. I tend not to use it much as it kills my frame rate when the towns grow too quickly
BlueChris69 11 Jun, 2019 @ 11:28am
Wow ok that's great, I really didn't know about that mod. Subscribed to it now. Would I need to start a new game for it to work do you think? And yes, very much enjoying your maps. Definitely a challenge getting the industries around the map! :)
OffTheRailsGaming  [author] 11 Jun, 2019 @ 6:47am
Thanks @BlueChris69. There is a mod called 'Z Production Increase' that increases production levels to 12800, that should fulfil your needs better. Glad you're enjoying the maps :-)
BlueChris69 11 Jun, 2019 @ 1:18am
Really love this map! I've spent the last few days playing it and it's quite a challenge. My only problem is with the industry only producing 1600 items how do you service all 10 towns? 160 per town isn't going work...and Mrs Miggins won't be happy ;)

Anyway, great map, I'm going to start Lakeside later.

Great map!

A well made small map is always better than a badly made huge one.
OffTheRailsGaming  [author] 4 Jun, 2019 @ 1:34pm
@Gulgir If you click on my picture on the right hand side where it says 'created by' then go to 'workshop items' there is a medium sized map called Lakeside. I will be making some more soon but they are quite time consuming
Gulgir 4 Jun, 2019 @ 12:59pm
love the map and would really appreciate a medium sized map. Any plans for it?
OffTheRailsGaming  [author] 4 Jun, 2019 @ 7:29am
Thanks everyone. @Steen if you want to delete the industries, go into the map folder, open the map.lua in notepad and delete the entries under the Local Industries section.

@Dorian_Mus select Free Game from the main menu, then on the right hand side you should see Select Map, you should be able to find it in there
Steen 3 Jun, 2019 @ 12:57pm
Hi love the map! Any plans to make a non-industry version perhaps? ;)
Dorian_Mus 3 Jun, 2019 @ 9:10am
how do you load it in game?
Sir Meikel 3 Jun, 2019 @ 8:30am
Been playing it for the last 3 days. I love it! I prefer smaller to mid-size maps myself as well, because - apart from a very few select maps - usually large maps don't offer 'more'. The fact that Crackley Bay has one of each industries makes this map almost mission-like. Right now I try to get each product that a citry has demand for into each of the cities. That's really fun and needs some strategic thinking. Probably will start all over again in order to try a different approach, but hey! - that's part of the fun. Thumbs-up and thanks!

Oh my! This looks beautiful! I can't wait to play it. Coincidentally, I discovered your YouTube Channel a few minutes ago, too - I'm really looking forward to enjoying your "Transport Fever Scenics" playlist.

You're welcome. Have fun :-)
grisu_firefighter 1 Jun, 2019 @ 3:29am
That's amazing. I just started with minor terraforming and placed some station to start with. So there is no problem with a restart.
Thank you!!:steamhappy:

No mega version Sqwelookle. I'm sticking to small/medium-ish sized maps for people with slower computers. Most maps on here are too big for a lot of peoples computers, including my own.
OffTheRailsGaming  [author] 31 May, 2019 @ 10:21am
Hi grisu_firefighter I have updated the heightmap to make the rivers slightly wider so boats can now reach all the towns. You will have to restart the map for it to take effect though.
grisu_firefighter 31 May, 2019 @ 8:22am
Very nice map. I loaded it yesterday and started it. It is a small but 'tiny' map so it's a good mix of size and space to build. But there is one thing missing for me: the lack of shippable rivers. There are so much rivers and big ones also but there are town that are not reachable by ship. That is sad. Perhaps you can improve this for the next time and reupload it then!?
Sqweloookle 30 May, 2019 @ 11:26pm
Is there a mega version? :steamhappy:
rose4100 29 May, 2019 @ 5:50pm
Looks good. Downloading now to try it out. I (and my cpu) appreciate it when people make non-experimental sized maps. Thanks!
