Crisis UI works fine too.
Also fixed the tech repeating infinitely. Now it should stop appearing as a tech option once you have 36 slots available.

Yep, mods were conflicting even when not on. Your mod and the mod 'Malekith's 20 Ascension Slots', to be specific. Unsubscribing from one of them has fixed the issue. Paradox, pls fix, lol.
I had to delete mods_registry.json once to fix the new launcher, but otherwise no problems.
If you say you are not using anything else and only perk slot mods don't work, I really have no idea.
It should only happen if another mod overwrites the same file.
Maybe try and unsubscribe from all mods, manually delete any leftover files in your stellaris workshop folder, and delete the mods_registry.json in documents; some old files might be conflicting
Yes I've been playing with it; I use all my own mods, works fine.
Also just deactivated it to check and indeed the slots are gone; if I activate it they are there.
Are you using any other UI, ascension perk or tradition mods? They sometimes tend to change the same files and overwrite the changes of my mod.
I updated all my mods with the new descriptor files.
"This mod is missing the descriptor file. Please contact the author of this mod."
But then, I came to notice something.
36 is not enough.
It sounds crazy. It sounds insane. But it is not enough. Not for everything. Not for my greed to *have them all*. I still hadn't even gotten a mod to allow for multiple ascension paths yet for Synth , Telepath, and Genetics at the same time (on that note, anyone know a good one?).
So I am asking. As the author of someone who made the 36 slot mod for perk slots a reality and made this crazy dream possible, Is it possible for you to enable this insanity of having MORE perk slots?
I await your response.
Failing that, could you make a mod that allows one to remove ascension perks? That way, I could remove the vanilla ones, add the modded ones, and then re-add the vanilla ones using console.
