Was there ever a CE patch for the Rimhammer End Times Mods?

@fighterpilot45 - Only if you're using a mod to make the game medieval. Such as Medieval Vanilla. Royalty isn't ideal, because it relies on future tech. If you get a mod to make Royalty medieval compatible, then you're good to go with that.

Check if your dwarves are Slayer maybe. All slayer has the nudist trait by default.

@Deylendor - Yes, you can add this in. It won't cause any problems to add it in. Taking it out later would be a potential problem. Why not back up your save file first, just to be safe?

I've got a quite the save which I've heavily invested into loaded with the Rimhammer mod. As this is an addon is it "safe" to include it now while the factions are all already generated and I've progressed considerably?

@ocrun - Rune Magic is definitely on the list. I have to dig through my hundred of notes, and figure out how best to implement that.

@Stargazer - Sadly, no. The dwarfs have a unique body shape. Vanilla clothes look weird on them. It is one of my deepest regrets not using a vanilla body.

Hey, really been enjoying this mod along with the rest of RImhammer! Lovely work. The only question I have is if there's any way for Dwarfs to be able to wear normal clothes? Or are they limited only to the apparel and armor from this mod?

@doom frog - Note that this mod is the 1.0 version of Dawi. I released the going forward version under a whole new mod to stop my updates from breaking people's games. I looked at the dining chairs. They take 500 more work in the config than a vanilla dining chair (so should be 50 more in game). Maybe it's because of the material that they require so much, since vanilla chairs cannot be made of stone. I'll look again. Now I'm curious.

@doom frog - I'll take a look. I noticed the Empire dining chair was equally time consuming the other day. I'll adjust those if it seems out of line with the vanilla dining chair in terms of stats/beauty/so on.

Very fun mod. Little thing I noticed is that the work-to-build for the dawi dining chair is above 800 while for the dining table it's 178.. Can take all day to build a chair.

@jardakins - There's a dawi recruit caravan that will let you recruit dawi for $$. There's the Outcasts faction in the base Rimhammer mod that will always be hostile, and will attack you. They will have dawi you can capture and recruit. There's also a few events to get dawi, like a lost miner joins, or a captured dawi needing rescue. My dawi games always end with upwards of 40 to 50 pawns, so it's definitely doable!

@☾⎛sιтєʀ⎞☽ - I made a new mod. It's called: Any One Can Dwarf. See my list of workshop items. It's a patch that removes all race restrictions on dwarf buildings and recipes. I just uploaded it, so it may not show in steam for a short while. Load it after the dwarfs mod.

@SickBoyWi I did all research in dev mode and they don't show up. I had to god mode in a dwarf pawn and recruit him into the colony and then wait like 6 in game hours for the recipes to show up. It's a pain in the butt lol.

@☾⎛sιтєʀ⎞☽ - Did you do the research? The recipes and such should show up if you have a dawi and did the research. One thing you could do it alter the AlienRace files. Go to this file (for 1.2): C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods\Rimhammer-The-End-Times-Dwarfs1.2\1.2\Defs\AlienRaces Open it up, then search for recipeList and buildingList. Delete the entire recipeList and buildingList sections. You will have to do it twice, there's two alien races in that file. Regular dwarfs, and slayers. I've been thinking about making a mod that is nothing but a patch, that removes those restrictions for people that don't want them. That will probably only take me a few minutes to do. Perhaps I can get that done later today. In the meantime, deleting those sections will fix your issue.

@SickBoyWi Can you please make having a dwarf in your colony for the recipe to show up not a requirement? I use the furniture and walls because they look aesthetically nice for my other colonies but now that I can't even build the walls after spending several hours playing and noticing they aren't showing up, I'm really peeved. I can't even get the recipe to show up if I spawn a dwarf in and make them a colonist but the recipes show up in god mode in a fresh start save with dwarfs only. Removing that requirement and letting any race build it would really help... or at least please make it an option in the mod.

@dedjustded - You need to do the research in the dwarfs research tab, and you need to have a dawi in your colony to build the furniture. You can use either Rimhammer base mod, but neither is required. You can go without them. You should still use the Rimhammer Magic mod, and load it before dwarfs. Again, not required, but it will make dwarf caravans have healing potions and wands of resurrection.

hey hey, sorry if this is a dumb question but how do you make dawi furniture? i started a dawi start colony however i cant find any dawi furniture in any of the categories? is it because im using other dwarf mods like lord of the rims and forgotten realms? or is it a conflict between other furniture mods? Can i use a different version of doors expanded (the updated one) instead of the one listed here? Also how about the main rimhammer mod? does it have to be the one that removes guns?

Hi, i love your mod. One thing i have noticed is that, in the "Dawi bench" description says "Not very comfortable, but much better than nothing". In the stats it gives 1.0 comfort, which is much better than most chairs. Instead, in the "Dawi dinning chair" description says "A comfortable and attractive chair", when it only gives 0.7 comfort. @son of malkav - If you have a dwarf in your colony, then it should work. It's definitely been used by thousands of folks without issue. It could definitely be a mod conflict.

Well it seemsthat I cant use any dwarf plants. Cant plant them and cant use them in recipes. Any idea why that is (could a mod interfere with that?)?

@Slides - If you're using the 1.1 version (this is the 1.0 version), then there's a handful of events that add dwarfs. The best way is in the 1.1 version, I added a new dwarven recruit caravan, you can buy between 3 and 5 pawns every time they should up. Otherwise there's wild dwarfs, lost miners joins event, and random wanderer joins events. If you have the base Rimhammer mod active, the Outcasts faction has dwarfs as a part of it too, so you can capture and recruit them. It depends on your game stage; later on in the game when you already have a bunch of pawns is to get out and do the prisoner map quests to free the captured dawi, and they will join.

Hey Sickboy, first I'd like to say how much I love this and your other mods! They're Top notch. But I do have a question, How does one go about getting other dwarfs to join the colony after starting the game? You've probably already answered this, But I can't seem to find where.

this mod does not work good with the pawnbold race. i dont know why but if u have both they mix up. The ogre mod get also the pawnbold look if that helps. after i removed the pawnbolds the dwarves looked like in your pictures.

@Fly666monkey - With the next release, dwarfs will have more clothing options. Related to your patch comment: The issue is that these dwarfs have a different body shape, so other clothes look weird. If you scan your local mod folder for the text: onlyUseRaceRestrictedApparel, there's a file called RH_TET_Dwarfs_AlienRace.xml. Just set the two onlyUseRaceRestrictedApparel entries to false instead of true for onlyUseRaceRestrictedApparel, and they will be able to wear anything. Note that it's in there twice. Once for dwarfs and once for slayers. You'll want to remove both so all the lads can wear whatever.

@Bargian - If you're using the Rimhammer base mod, yes. If you're using the Rimhammer WITH GUNS!! base mod, then no. Royalty is a spacer tech DLC. The rimhammer base mod forces the game into medieval times; they are not compatible. The Rimhammer WITH GUNS!! version leaves the tech stuff alone, so is compatible with Royalty DLC.

I dont know is it only me but i noticed that dwarf couples dont do "some lovin" where my human couples have up for every night :D

@GearHammer - No. Cannons cannot fire over walls or mountains. If you recapture the lost hold, you get the end game text and credits, but you can continue and settle there and keep playing. Noted on the recommendation.

Yea i was doing a medieval run with the story teller from the factions expanded series, everything worked well besides not being able to do my own dwarf helms but was all good, i bought a few from traveling to sell ALE then raided the stronghold. Was weird i could craft armor at the fueled smithy but not helm but wasn't a massive problem. Thanks for taking it into consideration though, thanks for the great mod/experience!

@Caleb - Do you have a machining table? Look for the helmet bills there. If you don't because you're playing a medieval play through, and you aren't using the base rimhammer mod, then you're out of luck. If that's the case, I have a fix here, I just need to do a test before I push it to Steam. I'll get to that this afternoon if you need it. Just let me know.

Do you have a Forge @Caleb? The dwarf helmet jobs show up at there, although they should show up at the fueled smithy as well.

Amazing dwarf mod, its so much fun but i cant find where to make the helmets, i don't see them in my fueled smithy list after getting Fine Armor, any ideas? Thanks in advance.
