what on earth is the point of this mod if pixblock converter doesnt accept pixblocks? the dinos sound nice but its pointless if i cant make them

it's a bad mod you can't even put pixblocks in the converter yuck!

Gotchya. I'm running a vanilla map, but I do have the extra content installed. It's really sad that things are working out the way they have.

It's a great game, but a fair amount appears to be unfinished. I have to wonder if there was a falling out between Studio Wildcard and Snail. Hopefully Studio Wildcard retained the rights to the IP. It'd be amazing to see a Pixark 2 some day.

The converter (as with the rest of the mod) only works on vanilla, due to the devkit not being updated properly.

The dinosaurs are spawnable through commands but I can't put any pixblocks in the converter. Am I doing something wrong or is the converter broken?

This mod does not work with the Skyward expansion. Pixark has not updated their modding tools to allow anyone to make their mod compatible with Skyward. If you use a Skyward map, it will crash. If you use a map from just the base game, it will work fine.

In order to have a modding community the publisher / author has to provide adequate tools. Snail doesn't seem to care about their modders. The reason Ark has so many modders is because their tools actually work and are actively supported. If Snail ever does that, this game will flourish as well :)

Its a shame there isn't more modders for this game ( i might try and learn how ) .
But i will use this mod tonight and keep up the hard work fella.

It should still work on main. However the PADK does not have the necessary resources to make mods for SW.

Try without other mods - perhaps something incompatible in them?

Tested it while hosting a normal map, same deal.

Ohh I see. I clicked on Pixark map but the mods say custom ark. (singleplayer)

Normal is the Pixark map. SW is Skyward, their free expansion. There are severe, known issues with mods in SW that we're waiting for the Snail team to fix. So, it should only be a year or so :)

Just a heads up. As soon as I equipped the pick up gun my game crashed. Using Goblin Trade Emporium and Ultra Storage below this mod.

They finally updated! Should have an update soon.

It is because we cannot update our mods - because the devs of this game won't release an updated version of the dev kit. So everything we make is 1+ years behind and a lot of stuff is now out of sync :)

I know Ark was a bit slow with ADK updates, but this is getting ridiculous.

Big oof on the year behind. But I would like to see the anky and the Doedie more like their ark counter parts. Their tails do the harvest, and in front of them, not down and wonky?
