@mitidobrabo Thanks, I knew people would appreciate it.

Cool that you even added the defectors of IJA and advisors of China and Soviet Union!

Want yo use this mod in editor. Looks really cool and is of interest. However, when testing a mission, it says it is missing certain mods like po_main and sab_artillery. Would these be related to SOG prarie fire of something of the sort? Cannot find those particular mods on workshop. Was wondering if you had any guidance or suggestions on that. Thanks a ton.

thank you very much MASTER!
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 21 Apr, 2023 @ 8:15am
@fenix_926 The French should already be speaking their native language and have French sounding names while for the Vietminh there is no way for them to speak Vietnamese other than using the dynamic voices included with unsung.
fenix_926 21 Apr, 2023 @ 7:41am
good mod bro, but are names and language of troops fixed?
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 19 Mar, 2023 @ 11:28am
@Frosted Vert Thanks
Yo Gabba Gabba! 19 Mar, 2023 @ 11:25am
Very well made. I think you did a great job on the factions.
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 28 May, 2022 @ 5:16pm
@RetroBurger1980 I have no interest in that at this time
Retroburger1984 28 May, 2022 @ 5:14pm
What he means is that can you make a Malaysian Emergency mod that has all the factions in it, so that way we don't have to install multiple mods.
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 3 Apr, 2022 @ 9:14am
@REDAVIAT0R I believe factions for that already exists.
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 10 Mar, 2022 @ 10:11am
@RetroBurger1980 No, they used green along with the khaki uniform.
Retroburger1984 10 Mar, 2022 @ 7:15am
Do you think maybe you can remove the green uniforms from the Vietminh and give them their Khaki Vietnamese Uniforms like the rest of them?
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 27 Feb, 2022 @ 10:39am
@RetroBurger1980 We'll see
Retroburger1984 27 Feb, 2022 @ 9:53am
Do you think maybe you can add it as one of the required items? Also I think it comes with accurate uniforms and the FM 24/29 7.5 mm French Machine Gun that you could use to replace the Czech Machine gun that you've been using with other mods that involve the French Army during and after WW2.
Retroburger1984 24 Feb, 2022 @ 9:11am
That is strange, you could just use the uniforms and equipment from that mod to add to this mod (mainly just the French uniforms and weapons to add to the French faction).
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 24 Feb, 2022 @ 8:30am
@RetroBurger1980 That's been out a while, I tried using some of the assets from it but Alive doesn't seem to pick them up.
Retroburger1984 24 Feb, 2022 @ 8:20am
I found this Indochina mod that I thought you might be interested in.

@RetroBurger1980 Try repairing or redownloading.
Retroburger1984 14 Feb, 2022 @ 4:15pm
I don't think you changed the National Defense Army assault squad yet.
Retroburger1984 13 Feb, 2022 @ 4:55am
OK good.
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 12 Feb, 2022 @ 6:17pm
@RetroBurger1980 I made the changes to the weapons and uniforms but saw no need to add the ammo cases.
Retroburger1984 12 Feb, 2022 @ 12:13pm
The National Defense Army looks better now though their is some that still spawn with soviet weapons and there is also one who spawns with an american helmet.

Do you think you can fix this one last problem by giving them french weapons and give 3 of them Japanese WW2 Ammo cases? Also maybe you can give 3 or 4 of the soldiers Vietnamese civilian clothing because chances are not all of them had proper military clothes on when the war started.
Retroburger1984 11 Feb, 2022 @ 4:43pm
Ok good. : )
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 11 Feb, 2022 @ 3:47pm
@RetroBurger1980 I just noticed that too, my mistake I'll fix that now.
Retroburger1984 11 Feb, 2022 @ 3:34pm
Why did you give the National Defense Army soviet weapons?
Retroburger1984 10 Feb, 2022 @ 6:27am
That is something to be concerned about.
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 10 Feb, 2022 @ 4:56am
@RetroBurger1980 You are correct on that but if I were to group them like I did the french it would differ from them which may lead to certain units fighting each other when in actuality they wouldn't be.
Retroburger1984 10 Feb, 2022 @ 4:19am
But according to the video I shared with you the national defense army was bound to certain years.
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 9 Feb, 2022 @ 7:51pm
@RetroBurger1980 Not really sure seeing as most of the Vietminh units are not bound to certain years.
Retroburger1984 9 Feb, 2022 @ 5:30pm
OK maybe your right. By the way do you think you can you divide the Vietminh into separate years just like the french, based on the video you watched?
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 9 Feb, 2022 @ 3:54pm
@RetroBurger1980 I'd rather not add a CDLC as some people may not have it and may not want to download the 20-30GB compatibility patch on top of the mod dependencies which are already in that GB range if not more.
Retroburger1984 9 Feb, 2022 @ 3:37pm
Maybe you could use SOG prairie fire for the National Defense Army and their southern forces maybe that will help with the British equipment.

What do you think?
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 9 Feb, 2022 @ 2:56pm
@RetroBurger1980 I saw in the video you sent that the Vietminh used a type of pouch similar to the VC pouch from Unsung so I decided to keep it on certain units as somewhat of a placeholder. I tried giving the southern forces British equipment but the webbing had very bad clipping so instead I'll do a mixture of U.S/French equipment for those units. As for the M1935, I think the U.S Class C uniform looks a little more like it than the British desert uniform in terms of color and somewhat in terms of overall pocket placement.
Retroburger1984 9 Feb, 2022 @ 1:20pm
They look good now though, some of the Vietminh (mostly the regionals and their support variants) still have VC pouches.

And do you think you can give the Vietminh forces present in Southern Vietnam their British, German, and french Equipment instead of soviet equipment, as well as give the national defense army a mix of Japanese, American and French weapons and equipment?

And lastly give the parade units British khaki desert uniforms because they are similar to the M1935 french uniforms I mentioned and their blue side caps please?
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 9 Feb, 2022 @ 1:38am
Updated
Retroburger1984 8 Feb, 2022 @ 8:42pm
That's great, thanks. : )
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 8 Feb, 2022 @ 6:54pm
@RetroBurger1980 It's really useful, right now I'm adding the national defense army, I already added units from the battle of Hanoi and am currently adding the forces present in Southern Vietnam who used British, German, and French Equipment, then I will try to add the parade units you talked about and also change out the anachronistic equipment of the older units and add Japanese helmets to the regional forces, finally I might try to add units that use French and U.S weaponry.
Retroburger1984 8 Feb, 2022 @ 6:50pm
What do you think of the video?
Retroburger1984 8 Feb, 2022 @ 4:04pm
Alright here is the link to the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oyp1r7dZN4
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 8 Feb, 2022 @ 1:24pm
@RetroBurger1980 Yes, that would be helpful.
Retroburger1984 8 Feb, 2022 @ 12:44pm
Thanks : )

I think you should recreate those soldiers because there is a lot to this conflict that we don't know, also there is a video on the Evolution of Vietnamese Army Uniforms and it shows some of the Uniforms that the Vietminh wore in that Conflict.

Want me to share it with you?
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 8 Feb, 2022 @ 12:38pm
@RetroBurger1980 I'll see if I can recreate that at all.
Retroburger1984 8 Feb, 2022 @ 11:53am
Well I have two osprey books about the 1946-1954 Indochina War and in the versus one there is a photograph of Vietminh soldiers parading in Hanoi in April of 1946 they were wearing dark blue side caps with Vietminh badges and French khaki M1935 tenue d' exercise d' ete with M1916 leather belt equipment.

The weapons they had were French 8mm M1902 fusils de Trailleur, along with a mixture of british, American and Japanese weapons.
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 8 Feb, 2022 @ 9:20am
@RetroBurger1980 Unfortunately no I don't.
Retroburger1984 8 Feb, 2022 @ 6:02am
Do you have any osprey books on the Indochina War?
Retroburger1984 8 Feb, 2022 @ 5:16am
That I'll have to look into, and I'll let you know.
Rustled Ravioli  [author] 7 Feb, 2022 @ 8:05pm
@RetroBurger1980 What would these early uniforms be?
Retroburger1984 7 Feb, 2022 @ 7:38pm
Do you think you can create Early versions of Vietminh uniforms?
Retroburger1984 28 Nov, 2021 @ 4:20pm
Sounds great, though for the Regional, AT squads and assault squads Vietminh forces, add the Japanese helmet to the Machine Gunners and AT squads only so that way there isn't an over abundance of them.
