Going to give it a try. I have all my Unique Factories in the middle of Supply and Outbound Warehouses. That works to a point well, what you have is an awesome idea to resolve what I have been wanting. the only things left is to get my supply chain from/to the raw materials. This however fixes a lot! nice job.

Hope it works, if not, that's ok, nothing I take for granted except the Vanilla game we pay for, else it is someone just trying to create and help.

I have the Mass Transit DLC, but this mod will not load up. I have other mods too. Are there known conflict issues?

@lemonpopz Thanks anyway! One of the dirt roads is off by one square. I moved it back one and it worked :D The dirt roads at the front needed to be hooked up at both ends, not just one, to allow the utilities to get back to the area, but that's easy.

@shinian I actually couldn't make it in the editor, I had to make it in game, then do something weird and crazy that I don't remember to import a saved game into asset editor... or a custom asset... I remember I had to install a mod maybe? I'm so sorry, I really don't remember. I did find out by googling though, 100% certain of that! I bet some of the roads grid distances changed just slightly and thats making it not fit anymore. I might be able to get on this weekend to check it out and see what can be done :)

@Lemonpopz I know that feeling, no worries :D I think it just looks different in practice from your demo video. I needed to actually connect the dirt roads on the other end back to the outgoing roads so they can lop around. As for warehouses, yeah maybe something changed. I can see how it should work, but two warehouses on the middle back dont line up with where the road is now, for some reason. Or I didn't try hard enough, lol. I don't think its a big deal in any case, nothing to push you to go editing or anything.

I'm curious though. When I've tried making my own asset I only hav enough room for something half that size in the asset editor. Not sure how you got something so big from the in game editor. I'ma noob though. I'm sure I'll figure it out.

Its been over a year since I've even looked at it @shinian , but when I built it the warehouses all worked and the the utilities should've been able to loop around back through! Unless you're using left handed driving I believe. However, I know like 6 game updates have come out since I released this and opened skylines last, and if several people can confirm that its not working I'll hop back on and update it :)

This game is fantastic, and I still love it to this day. CitiesinaSnap is still running strong, the competitive event I created, and I'm proud to see where its grown over the last year. But I personally haven't had the inspiration to kick the game back open in a long time. I miss it, just very little free time nowadays.

Oh something else, I forgot before posting. I wasn't sure how the utilities get around. It seems they have to leave the area and travel until they reach a turnaround point elsewhere in the city, in order to return back to base. Helicopters resolve that though, except for trash I guess

I can' t place the centre back warehouses. So only have 12. That's plenty really. Works great! I just need to work out how to hook it up to the factory area and trains.

Hey there @riebel.d and @Astorhea I'm not sure what the road issues might be, I haven't played the game in about 9 months so unfortunately the asset hasn't been updated in several patches. There likely may be bugs that have come up as a result of everything, and if so I apologize.

If I get some time in the next few weeks I'll get on and check it out, see if I can fix it up if there are indeed problems :)

Overall, thanks for the effort of creating this. However, there are a few bugs. The back left corner is broken, as thebtm mentions below. The roads don't connect so that the back left warehouse gets no road connection to the overall city. There is also a road connection broken in the front right. the front right is easy to fix, the back left took me ages. If you fix these, this would be great!

Hi, my city is LHD and when using this asset the roads are in the wrong direction. Any suggestions on how to change the asset's road direction en masse? Currently i cannot manually change the sections (due to significant road overlap) and i cannot load this in asset editor either (it won't render). Would be grateful for some guidance.

Hey, Just wanted to let you know in vanilla CS, the back left bugs out (last outer warehouse on the left when looking from the front), I had to make modifications to make it work in my city. otherwise its working great ^^ loving it.

Did anyone else's turn out backwards? As in the one-way roads ran in the opposite direction to what is in the video exemplar?

Absolutely brilliant, used for industrial zone, added a few roads (in/out and to use up space) and it is the best industrial zone design I have ever seen, traffic is very good, no backups except at merging exit (fixed with TMPE). Well done.

@juvelaobi it's designed for the Large Warehouses in the Industry DLC! However you can use this with anything you want, as I made sure not to include the DLC roads in it. That way it can be used in vanilla:)

Thats kinda the conclusion I came to as well @Kal , not sure if I'm missing something but with it being entirely one way roads, I'm not sure how left hand driving even comes into play!

Either way, I have personally moved on from asset creation and Cities Skylines for the most part, and am doing other content now. I still run the monthly speed build competition (follow me on twitter @lemonpopzz to learn more) but after a year and a half of playing, I'm burned out :D

For a left hand drive version, can't you just delete the entrance road and re-add it on the other side of the exit road? This should match up the entrance/exit with left hand drive roads with no other changes needed. The whole thing is basically one way roads after all. so unless I'm missing something, there shouldn't be any need for a new version, or to manually turn any roads around.

Really cool! I made a city using unly this asset (after reaching 1800 pop ish). Yes, you heard me, ONLY this asset! :P Not its intended purpose maybe but it's amazingly efficient actually and I have 85%+ trafic flow in my now 80k+ pop city. This is WITH Real Time mod and no despawning from TM:PE! So gg on creating a great asset!

Great asset man. I see you're not afraid to get some feedback. I wonder what you think about these two suggestions.

Flip the 6 outer warehouses 180 degrees and do the roads like the inside 6. No more 90 degree turns.
Make the first two just go straight in from the entrance, there's no cross traffic anyway.

Anyway, great asset! Gave me some ideas on roadbuilding and guiding large amounts of traffic.

@forbesyj9 I appreciate the feedback! One of the reasons I made the corners so tight is because to get a perfect 45 degree flow with no traffic slowdown the roads needed to be massively larger, and that extra travel distance made it take longer than if they just slowed down :) I did think about that however! The vehicles go 0-100 nearly instantly, so a shorter distance is much more preferable even if it involves a few tight turns.

Glad to hear you made some improvements to it however, you should post a screenshot!

i really like this except all the 90 degree turns slow the traffic down badly. especially the 2 warehouses at the start having to do a crazy tight u turn. also tweaked the entrance so that they split and have flowing corners with added toll booths, very similar to what biffa did in his vid of ur original design. otherwise its almost perfect, make the corners flow better and maybe not so compact so we can add trees and stuff and make it look a bit nicer and it will be flawless.
but u still saved my industrial area traffic lol.

@Eliminatesu that happens if you're playing with left-hand traffic. You'll have to flip all the roads manually. It matters especially because you'll get 0 service coverage from the designated police/fire spots.

The one-way roads in the you-tube video appear to be flowing in the exact opposite direction to the one-way roads on the in-game asset. For example in the you-tube video the trucks are leaving via the centre spinal road where as they are entering through the centre spinal road according to the pre-set direction of the roads in the in-game asset. Is this working as intended? Does this matter?

I didn't place it in Rico-settings. It went in there the moment I installed it...But anyway, now that I deleted it from Rico it went into my intersection menu and now it works. I only had to change something on the entrance and exit highway because they didn't line up with my excisting highway and the moment I demolished the incoming highway I could no longer connect a highway into a straight T-shape. So I now use 6-lane one way road instead. But it works and that is what matters. Thanks ;)

@emperorDarthSidious ooh yeah I bet its because you did it in RICO. I can't imagine what else would cause it, I haven't ever experienced that issue before. I hope removing it works, if not please do post any solutions you find here to help anyone else who might run into this problem!
