for people concerned, you can get into it just fine. Just do it in the main menu, not after you load into a game.

@Sergio Try rubbing up against it instead. If I remember correctly I set up the button weirdly in that room.

Just wanted to mention you can get "LEVEL A CHARGE" with this map as well!
just shoot charger in hand 8 times near button then go to the opposite side of button and w8 for him to charge and sweep you baseball bat towards him!

A sugestion: you could add all the melee weapons to the room with common infected, to unlock the achievements related with decapitating zombies and using all melee weapons.
