@ Road Animal, My expanded Army and Navy Icons are the reason I created the Larger Icon Selection Box mod (makes it simple to see most icons).

Learning to mod is well worth the effort, and I recommend that you take my Navy Icons and convert that mod to a simple icon version. Feel free to use my work, just give me some credit. My first mod was taking an abandoned Army Icon mod and updating the version date and adding some more icons. Let me know if you have any questions.

If you have the screen space I also recommend the following mod:

I wish someone would make new better naval fleet and task force icons , the standard ones are terrible , they need to be icons of ship types ie carrier , BC etc.. and just some better selection alternates

Would you be willing to publish a version of this that adds the extra color palette, but does not work with achievements? In order to be more compatible with mods in which adding the extra icons included in My Favorite Theater Icons leads to conflicts?
HOI4, for me, is missing a mod that increases the color palette, while allowing you do combine any of the theater insignia mods that you want. I have spent hours trying to find the perfect combinations for me own games. Right now, a combination of your mods with "Sensible Theater Icons" works really well, but a very large mod with hundreds of insignias that are not NATO counters was just released and I'd like to be able to try it with the extra color choices. At the moments, the combinations conflict. Always leading to only a portion of 1, or even 2, icons available as choices.

@Mr-Steel, sorry for the delayed response. See the just added remarks in the description section. I have very little luck updating the thumbnail.png so that is why I have not changed it to only show the standard color bars.

@ Mr-Steel, the main thing is that the mod does not disable achievements, also you can use it in Ironman. This mod can be used non IM or IM does not matter.

what is the different between IM and non IM

I don't see the one with the tanks and some of the helmets (not just the eagle) are missing
