I'm not sure what the cause is, only thing i can think off the top of my head is that it might be a language thing, are you playing English localization or another language?
Not infinite?
Where it must placed by Mods? First, last position?
I'm on version v0.2.4767.21868 of the game.
Try unsubscribing, make sure it is removed from the mod list in game, and then exit the game, subscribe to it again and see if that helps.
Can anyone tell how can this mod be used on this game version?
The below comment about rename the xml is also not working.
it doesn't work that way, infinite paint is done by changing the amount of paint used to zero, there is no 'amount per use' with canisters, the contents just get moved from one place to another.
I personally think it was because i sometimes mess around with my own few mods that i made and it might of messed with this mod.
It is more likely that a bug in the game itself was the cause of your problems with your save.
Right now we can only change the recipes and some of the item attributes, not everything works
just yet, there is no mod scripting support that i'm aware of.
You can just start a new game, save it, go to the saves folder, edit worldsettings.xml with notepad, and change:
<GameMode>Survival</GameMode>
to
<GameMode>Creative</GameMode>
it's about 3rd or 4th line from the top, when you next load the game, you be in creative mode.
Then you can use / key in the game for the creative menu, and the authoring tool to build stuff for free. F9 key will drop whatever you selected in the menu right in front of you. That makes the game about as easy as it gets. When you running out of air, just spawn another cylinder of oxygen and put it in your suit, same with batteries and stuff.
I made the infinite spray cans pretty much for the creative folks, that like to build but not necessarily like the survival aspect of the game.
It'd be possible to make a battery with very large charge, and still have to charge it, just less often.
To make a battery infinite, you would need to change everything else to use no power, even then very cold places like europa would slowly sap the charge from the battery.
