Report a translation problem
I'm not sure why but i can only assume my game lacking the asteroids is due to the lack of an update.
my game had the vanilla materials present in the sector and the HQ is in said sector and I started with 4 Billion credits.
I can probably cheat to get all the research..... but not sure if everything else works or not now.
I have the 2 systems available, tons of natural resources in them.
I see the 2 alternate starts as well. The system does have lots of scale plate and other potential hostiles. I had my headquarters spawn in napolis 2 as part of a custom start and it was so close to a khati hive that the hive showed up when i went into build station mode. Good thing I put khati relations to +30 since this is my dozenth playthrough and i'm tired of random incursions.
How do i create a new ext_01.cat file using these 2 files above (replace existing CAT file)?
No experience coding at all. I just play games lol

The resource part of it is still usable.
1) download this MOD
2) extract all its files
3) keep only the following files
content.xml
librairies/region_definitions.xml
4) create a new ext_01.cat file using these 2 files above (replace existing CAT file)
5) change X4 settings so it does not update it back to its original form from the workshop
6) (optional) If you want to keep the update from workshop because of other mods, then you will have to :
- modify the content.xml file to use a different mod ID so it won't be found in the workshop
7) start a brand new game because this MOD will not activate
8) once you started the game, you go an disable this MOD in X4. Its only valid for new games
I am playing a terran gamestart right now, and I want to make my headquarters sector on the edge of terran space. Getsu Fune is prime ground, especially with its proximity to both the industry in The Void, and the additional resource node of Asteroid Field. It also would let me start incursions into Xenon territory (for righteous conquest) later on due to that connection.
Been playing whole day after installation and the sectors stays exactly the same as without this mod.

For those of you who say it works fine, what specifically are you doing/using the mod for/with?
Like, is it the new game starts? Or is it everything that doesn't work?
I don't have any trouble accessing the PHQ inventory...I just click on the vacuum entrance...I don't remember seeing a console. I also have 3.2 and have no problem starting the Half Start.
Not sure if it's this mod, or the Inventory collector mod (it goes around collecting inventories from captains and deposits at PHQ inventory.)
So for sure this is not garanteed 3.* compatible. I think it is most likely it is not compatible at all.
