I have made EXTENSIVE changes to this sub, and also made an entire series of subs that simulate a "progression" that you can use in the campaign, using this sub as the starting point. I would like to release my set of subs as a collection and provide credit to the original author. Please let me know if that's okay

@Blackwolf602 All you have to do is open it in the submarine editor, and then save it again. This is definitely a scout, and I'd estimate it to be 4k or so in price.

Sub slowly runs out of oxygen. Needs the generator beefed up.

Major issue with this sub. Its really hard to repair the top hatch since there's no platforms underneath so if you try to repair it you'll fall back down and sometimes repairing outside the sub doesn't work either. Other then that I like this sub

Lacks crafting and vanilla shuttles cannot dock. I would move lower airlock to the left with oxygen generator room before it and add a new room in empty space to the right for a crafting device.

for some reason, all my adventures ended in disaster, but using THIS EXACT SAME SHIP, i succeded, ships like this should be made instead of big bulky slow moving cargo ships

To be honest. This vessel is perfect. But theres one problem. The AI are a little dumb and when going up the ladder to get to the command deck they often open up the second airlock down below. Which causes a few... problems.

@Jackson I actually plan to work on a bigger, more equipped ship while keeping the idea of being maneuverable by a few crew members. Whenever I have time.
@Shakesthespeare Made a multiplayer game with someone else, he went out of the ship at the beginning. I went in the middle of nowhere and positioned the coil guns the way I wanted. I then went out without diving suit, died, switched to spectator mode and took a lot of screenshots (the game was still on because the other player was alive). The title and logo have been added in photoshop by my partner.

The eel is a good ship because it is compact and all of the compartments are easy to access, however, I wouldn't mind seeing it extended somehow to fit a fabricator and a deconstructor to give the crew the full campaign-suite of things it needs to serve as a fully self-operable submarine, as well as maybe some more medical supplies and some empty lockers for storing MISC. equipment. Nonetheless, it is a solid craft for short missions, and it is honestly my favorite for its low power demand and its overall function with the simple cannon placement.

@List Seeing your message makes me happy to have had the Eel published. Now that the dousing is on the docking, I guess it will become an "arriving" ceremony. Good job to you and your friends making it so far with that little submarine !

Hey, just like to say I've had a great time so far with the Mighty Eel. Somethings bugged with the game I think, and even though I set my server to 3, we ended up with a crew of 6/7 on the eel. With only 3 masks and 3 suits and very limited supplies while 3 tiles away from the nearest shop we chose to head on for the centre of the map. Chugging on fumes, outrunning a moloch we made it one step closer only to meet our doom the following tile to two molochs at the same time. I highly recommend this ship, and we love the fact the docking port floods everytime you undock. It has become a ceremony for me and my friends, the dousing of the Eel!

The Eel has been updated. It is now more bot-friendly and better organized. The small flooding issue can still occur but on docking. @Jackson I will think about it, I feel like this is the biggest issue right now.

Isolate the airlock from the docking port somehow, I had a raptor chew through it and murk my crew in seconds. Add a pump to the Airlock Prep Room

@Kameha For sure this submarine is not the tougher but it compensates in simplicity. I was hoping people will use it with trusted friends in campaign. I am pushing a revised version this evening (EDT), hope you will like it.

looking at the thumbnail i know that its gonna leak and kill somebody at any mission
in multiplayer id say its more of a respawn shuttle in campaign its a good vessel

@Sneakiest Scoots Thanks for the feedback ! This issue is in my top list. I copied the docking hatch from the Remora but still have some issues with it. I will probably work on it at the end of the week along other fixes and reorganization. Thanks @L.Isue and @arbufy too for messing around with the Eel.

Good design, my friends and I are quite fond of it! The only problem is, for the life of us we couldn't find a button that closes the top hatch, and this means that every time we undock the boat floods a bit and we have to drain it through the airlock's small pump. Could you address that? When we tried to just buy a button at an outpost and wire it to the hatch the game straight up crashed for everyone except me and the wire refused to conenct to the hatch's toggle input.
