Yes! I first played this map in 2019 and it was a favorite
I just replayed it now thanks to your message, thanks :)
I did solve and enjoy the test beforehand.
As to the elevator; I too am ignorant as to the cause: It have not happened during my own testing...
Some glitches are okay with me - as long as they are not game-breaking
(some glitches here and there, especially in the last part; I can detail if you are interested to fix)
Also I had to noclip just to get out of the entrance elevator! don't know why!? i could do nothing there and elevator was not moving...)
I love your work in Hammer, very creative and well done!

@Clantis: Thank you for you recommendations. In fact, the barrel was thought of as a visual element only (to support a panel that was earlier there), but I see that you somehow found a use for it... The intended solution in the cave is to tip the plank using the box and then either place the cube beneath the plank to prevent it from tipping, or use it as another contraweight and then tread the plank lightly.
I will change the barrel to static to prevent the issue.
1: On the gear mechanism part when moving onto the cave
it would probably be a good idea to require the cube to enter the cave
as if you see its not required you will probably assume its impossible
to bring anyway so then you don't bother trying to get it. then you forget it and spend a really, really long time in cave.
2: once entering the cave every barrel leading up to this point has been immovable,
so every barrel you see you subconciously ignore it. replacing the barrel in the cave
with another crate would catch the players attention and let them know its important.
3: id add a extra crate or two because you have to jump at the end of the wooden plank
which may confuse some players.
