Updated to support E&C Bug Branch!

The Ethics that are to appear beside Cooperative and Competitive dont appear for me regardless of load order. Anyone else encountered this?

I've uploaded a bug branch compatible version of this (technically of Colored Ethics Alternate), available in my workshop for those interested. Lily, I put a more detailed note in Colored Ethics Alternate for you.

im sorry, i dont know the first thing about modding or coding, this issue is also happening with the alternate mod, thank you for replying!

This is actually probably pretty easy to fix. first, I'd say mess with the load order. if that doesn't work, you'd just have to copy the images in my mod and rename them to the same thing as the images from that one.
I can maybe take a look at it, but you could probably fix it yourself.

causes trouble when used alongside E&C Bug Branch, ethics added by BB have the default stellaris appearance, but the og ethics have this mod's appearance

It doesn't jeed updating mate, it's a graphics mod.

The competitive and cooperative traits are not colored anymore.

I put it below the colored ethics mod and it works.

@PRΔNDWhere did you put it? I have it below Alternative and Im still not getting the new Ethics to show up

Oh, it probably was the load order, now it works normally

Will you be adding support for the Ethics and Civis Alternate (the 'final form' of Ethics/Civis?)

It was actually an easy fix. Both this mod and the alternate should be updated to work with low graphics quality now.

Ok, increasing the graphics quality from low to medium seems to have fixed it

Although you may want to take a look if you can fix that, now that you know what's causing it. I haven't had this issue with any other mods as far as I can tell, so something might be off?

Can you try running your game with all other mods disabled? If the issue is fixed, you have another mod that is changing the resolution of the pictures and you can try running the game with certain mods enabled/disabled until you find the issue

If it's not fixed, you can try changing the graphics settings in the game, itself, to see if you can force higher quality images.

They look fine on that screen for me when I run only this mod.

They look perfectly fine on the empire creation screen when selecting what ethics to use, but on when you select an empire to use, the icons on the area where it shows the ethics of the empire are the ones that are affected, as well as when you go onto the empire screen ingame

They shouldn't look any more blurred than the vanilla icons.

Nevermind, game crashes are unrelated
But pixelation/blurriness is this mod and not any kind of incompatibility

It might also be causing game crashes when opening the empire select screen?

For some reason, the ethics icons in certain areas of the game, such as the empire selected screen, are very blurry/pixelated?

My 2cents: Authoritarian - Purple, Spiritualist - White, Xenophobe - Orange, Egalitarian - Blue, Materialist - Yellow

Spiritualist and Materialist are swapped on the alternate, linked in the description.

Spiritualists should be purple and Materialists should be orange. Athoritatians should also have their color swapped with their counterpart.

Should be in the base game!

White in many cultures means death. It's very fitting for Xenophobe since in most cultures it doesn't mean death in it means purity as pointed out.

@wlfrm White is also a symbol of purity.

white for xenophobe? serious? White probably more suitable for pacifist imo

The colors seem very arbitrary. The alternate version makes more sense.
